Social Media Marketing Strategies BUS ADM X432.5 (2 semester units) Learn to plan and execute a strategic marketing program that includes new media integrated with conventional marketing approaches. Marketing Strategy BUS ADM X415 (2 semester units) Study marketing strategies to determine which are relevant for your organization and which can maximize the bottom line. Focus Your Instruction With Electives To complete the curriculum, you must take at least two elective courses (4 semester units). 4 Prerequisites for Admission There are no prerequisites for the Certificate Program in Marketing, but a bachelor s degree is recommended. Curriculum Requirements The curriculum comprises 4 required courses (8 semester units) and a minimum of 2 elective courses (4 semester units) for a total of 12 semester units (180 hours of instruction). Candidates must pay a nonrefundable certificate registration fee. All coursework must be completed within five years of enrolling in the first required course. By taking two courses per term, you can complete the coursework within three terms (one year). Requirements may be updated based on new developments in the field of study; we recommend completing the curriculum in a timely fashion. You can enroll in courses and register for the certificate at extension.berkeley.edu/cert/market.html. Completion Requirements You must take all courses for a letter grade. To receive the certificate, you must maintain an overall minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA), with a grade of C or better in each course. A Certificate of Distinction will be awarded to those who complete the certificate with a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Most of the time, we were practicing real cases, she says. I m using all of the projects I did during class and putting them to work. Almost immediately after I completed the program, I got a job. Complete your student account profile if you are a new student, and pay the nonrefundable registration fee. You may enroll in individual courses without registering for the Certificate Program in Marketing.
