Import and export data to and from foreign systems. Ensure compatibility and correctness of data being transferred. Design and provide file structure to customers and create processes for data transfer. Create and support custom/ad hoc reports and queries in Business Objects and the Application. Through data analysis, product mapping and interviews, gathers forms and data files from customer and assesses requirements for system utilization and discusses any customization requirements with external programming team and internal staff. Creates data maps and transaction workflow documents showing exactly how every field of information will be converted. The data mapping forms the technical specification for the conversion and/ in some cases, may general code. Shares data maps with programmers, clients, and others as appropriate to ensure successful conversation. Refines mapping through interactive validation. As part of the conversion process, tests customized software against customer specific needs, shares with customer reports and application specific data that reflects how conversion data will be processed. Reviews conversion results (reports, balancing, data load, software changes) to refine and confirm requirements. Obtains formal acceptance of results. Examines processes, forms and reports, determines operational needs, and documents what the software will do and all related processes, forms, reports, etc. to be used after conversion is complete. May develop new procedures to ensure collection system is used appropriately. Carefully examines data and reports to make sure conversion is proceeding correctly, runs test scripts with various data to see how new or customized transaction process through the software and verifies and validates accuracy of data through the generation of a variety of reports. Create policies relating to system and security thereof as necessary. Identify trends and create
3 reports for business management decisions. Manage and administer of debt collection application system, security permissions and update Account Flow Manager programming logic. Provide analysis for programs and provide direction in developing code, review results of testing new programs and/or develop new programs or reports for management, staff and clients. Ensure staff are properly trained, assist with application backup functions, as well as client issues and provide presentations as required. Participate in RFP evaluation and subsequent implementation of new collection system. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in information systems, business, public administration or related AND two years of professional experience in system testing and/or organization change coordination and/or user support coordination with Enterprise Resources Planning systems (ERP), which must have included pulling reports by managing applications and databases. Substitutions A combination of work experience in database data and queries which provided the same kind, amount, and level of knowledge acquired in the required education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Collections Experience with Accounting related functions Experience with information systems as a super user, system administrator, or programmer Experience as application support or programmer familiar with jbase or a
