PLANNING THIS SETUP CAN TAKE A FEW hours to a few weeks, depending on the complexity of your rail fleet and the depth of use required of the GeoMetrix system. GeoMetrix will take the time to understand the dayto-day operations of your railcar fleet management and work with you to ensure the application meets your company s expectations and requirements. CLIENT NEEDS ANALYSIS SOLUTION CONTRACT CLIENT WELCOME & ORIENTATION ACQU OF D We familiarize ourselves with your company and its requirements in order to determine how Geometrix can best meet your specific challenges. 13 Training on Track LEARNING IN MOTION We start your training once all your data is loaded in the system and your railcars or shipments are on the move. This gives you the opportunity to see how the GeoMetrix system works as a whole. OUR INTRODUCTORY TRAINING SESSION will give your team a clear understanding of how GeoMetrix can assist in your day-today tasks. You will come away feeling comfortable using the system on their own and will know how to get in touch with us when they need support. We provide appropriate training for the full range of users from operations to management. Users training goals: a) Understand the GeoMetrix system features that assist new users in managing their fleet, b) Understand how to access the GeoMetrix customer support platform, c) Use GeoMetrix to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for each user to manage their company s fleet. Users learning objectives: a) Develop an understanding of how their data is collected and shown in the system, b) Develop a working knowledge of how to navigate through the system, c) Learn to setup necessary data, d) Learn to run and create custom reporting, e) Learn how to analyze data using GeoMetrix. 15 Training on Track Sessions usually last two to three hours for basic GeoMetrix training. At the end of the initial training period, the user will be clear on how the GeoMetrix system will assist in their day-to-day operations and will be comfortable continuing using the system on their own. Additional training is recommended to customers who use GeoMetrix to send out bills of lading or use the Yard management application. Training in these areas usually requires several half-day sessions or up to three days. We ll provide on-going education to our customers in the form of information updates or additional training to ensure that they are aware of all new features and upgrades to the system. 17 Staying on Track SIGNALS & MAINTENANCE We ll make every effort to ensure your organization gets the maximum benefit that GeoMetrix can provide to improve the effectiveness of your rail fleet management. AFTER INITIAL TRAINING AND USE OF THE system, we stay in touch periodically to ensure that GeoMetrix is adding value and meeting our clients expectations. Customers can call or anytime during our support hours to ask questions and provide feedback. We always welcome the opportunity to discuss enhancements and to share ideas about the products. Product Updates, which include minor enhancements and accumulated individual program corrections, are typically released three times a year. Issues will be evaluated by the impact they are having on your business, and will be flagged for action accordingly. Customers are advised as to the availability of technical personnel and problems of a critical nature will be given full priority. Problem Determination and Resolution is provided by our support centre staff, who are experts in all areas of our technology and applications. They will diagnose the source of your reported problems and help you to resolve them. Remote Diagnostics through GeoMetrix can be invaluable when gathering additional data related to reported problems or for validation of problems that can only be reproduced in the user environment.
