5 Environmental scientists will be in demand because there are many issues for them to study. In addition, some projects can't move forward until environmental scientists have looked at them.
6 For example, environmentally sensitive sites can't be built on until they have been analyzed. Another example is hazardous waste sites. Scientists must determine how the waste has impacted the soil and water before engineers can figure out how to fix the site. There are many other projects for environmental scientists. As long as the public continues to be concerned about the environment, these scientists will have plenty of work.
