Summary: The participant that signs up for this position will be hired for a Retail Sales Associate and/or Host. See "Additional Information" Section for Host job details. The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is the ultimate guide through the guests shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. As an RSA, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart). Basic functions of the Retail Sales Associate include: Greeting guests Answering questions - accurately and politely Answering the phone Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system Handling cash and other forms of payment Maintaining proper cash drawer balances Directing guests to areas/restrooms Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge Determining guests needs - by actively engaging them in 1-on-1 conversations and informing guests of product features & benefits Suggestive selling - using proven techniques (i.e., related items, higher-quality items,

2 transitional phrases) Maintaining a clean and organized store Maintaining proper product stock levels through retail pulls & inventories Displaying Retail product through HRC s visual display standards Performing opening, closing & side duties cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping & vacuuming the floor, folding product, etc Assuring the complete satisfaction of each and every guest Creating memorable experiences Entertaining guests to create Raving Fans Job Details Reporting Instructions: Pay Rate: Estimated days from arrival before starting work: Upon arrival. Uniforms): Uniform as described must be worn at all times while working. -Dress Code- Though Hard Rock Cafe happily embraces the individualism of all its employees, it is imperative that some basic guidelines are set forth concerning employee uniforms to ensure our brand image is maintained consistently company-wide. Where no policy exists in a particular uniform area, the General Manager and Director of Operations will approve. Uniform details available after student is confirmed for job. Grooming: All department uniform jeans/pants must not be faded, torn, or have designs on them. If hair is longer than shoulder length, employee must tie it back. Facial hair is acceptable, but employee should have a plan and look well groomed at all times. Employees are expected to maintain good personal hygiene. Tattoos and body-piercings are acceptable if they are in good taste and do not violate sanitation

4 and health policies. Employees may only wear official Hard Rock Cafe logo pins on their uniforms. FOH employees will be given 3 pins upon hire but must wear 10 pins by the end of the probationary period. BOH employees can wear pins on their hats but the 10-pin minimum is not mandatory, as they do not interact with guests.
