2 Bachelor s Degree Information Management Interface between Management and Technology As the name suggests, the degree programme Information Management links Business Administration and Informatics with principles of management. Practice-oriented and with vividly designed instruction it imparts the necessary tools to effectively manage computerized information systems in businesses and intercompany networks, both in terms of business administration and in terms of information technology. Our graduates receive the ideal preparation for the important gateway positions and management functions that exist in the charged relationship between IT and the world of business. There is more demand than ever before for Information Management, as the spreading usage of increasingly complex digital information technologies in the economy and in society is accompanied by a growing need for specialists. This is the perfect degree programme for all those who would like to become involved with modern information technologies, economics and management. This successful coupling of Informatics and Business Administration is comprised in four equal parts of economic subjects, principles of Informatics and Software Development, IT Management and supplementary subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Law, as well as additional in-depth specialist electives.
