2 Biographical Information Andrew Conley, Program Director, Clean Fuels Ohio 530 W. Spring St, Suite 250, Columbus, OH (614) Fax: (866) Andrew Conley oversees the day to day management of the Ohio Green Fleets program for Clean Fuels Ohio, working to help fleets reduce harmful vehicle emissions and petroleum dependence, helping fleets secure project funding, and designating fleets who are leaders in deploying green technologies and practices. Since he joined the Clean Fuels Ohio staff in November 2008, he has worked to develop both the public policy and Ohio Green Fleets programs for Clean Fuels Ohio. Conley previously coordinated Corps Development for City Year Columbus, where he was charged with administering programs for 38 diverse AmeriCorps members. Conley holds dual Bachelor s degrees in History and Comparative Religious Studies from Wright State University. Doyle Sumrall, Business Development Senior Director NTEA The Association for the Work Truck Industry Hills Tech Drive, Farmington Hills, MI (330) doyle@ntea.com Doyle Sumrall serves as senior director of business development for the NTEA. In this role, he is responsible for developing strategic alliances and is instrumental in researching and facilitating partnerships which add value for NTEA member companies. Sumrall also serves as the managing director of the Green Truck Association, an affiliate division of the NTEA. His keen areas of interest include expanding NTEA's training and educational offerings, educating members about new initiatives in green technology deployment, and growing relations with a broad range of stakeholders within the work truck industry. Sumrall has more than 30 years of engineering and business management experience, most recently serving as vice president of manufacturing for Stahl/Scott Fetzer Company, a well-known manufacturer in the commercial truck equipment industry. He has also served as director of engineering and operations and general manager of hydraulics for WALTCO Truck Equipment Co. (Tallmadge, OH), and has held management positions at Perfection-Cobey (Galion, OH) and Lockwood Corp. (Scottsbluff, NE). Sumrall is a member of SAE and serves on the Board of Clean Fuels Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Franklin University (Columbus, OH). Panel Member & Resource Person: Maraskeshia Smith, Deputy Director Public Services City of Cincinnati, 1115 Bates Ave., Cincinnati, OH Maraskeshia.Smith@cincinnati-oh.gov Maraskeshia Smith was appointed Deputy Director of Public Services for the City of Cincinnati in April of Before her appointment she previously worked for the Division of Engineering, Lexington Fayette Urban County Government and the State of Kentucky as a Manager for the Kentucky Arts Council/Commerce Cabinet in Frankfort, KY. The Department is comprised of five divisions with a staff of approximately 500 employees and an annual operating budget of $50 million and capital budget of $10. These divisions include Director s Office, Traffic and Roads Operations, Fleet Management, City Facility Management and Neighborhood Operations. The Department is responsible for approximately 2835 lane miles, 94,000 tons of trash, 88 facilities, 19 fuel sites and 3500 vehicles/equipment. Since taking her position Maraskeshia has received statewide, regional and national recognition for establishing a sustainable fleet. A couple of those include, the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA), which featured her efforts in reducing the City s dependency on foreign oil; Rousch Clean Tech s publication as being a visionary in successful reducing greenhouse gas emissions for the City. Maraskeshia has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Management and Marketing from University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
