2 About us BTS Beyond the Shore (BtS) was created from a diver s need for scuba cylinders. At the beginning of technical diving when the greater depths started to be explored, where longer cave penetration dives were done, the tanks available then were not enough. The need for more gas volume required twinsets from 18 liters or even 20 liters tanks. Thomas Dederichs, an experienced Technical Diver and Instructor at that time decided that if no one can offer such tanks to him, he will get them himself which have been the initial start of distribution activities of the BtS mother company (today BtS Holding). All distribution activities where combined under the name of BtS Europa AG in Since that time BtS has grown into a key player in steel and aluminum dive cylinders market and became one of the biggest European distributors of premium D.I.R. (Doing it Right) diving equipment with a well-developed dealer network. Our products are used not only by recreational and technical divers but as well by exploration & scientific research divers, public safety divers and military Special Operation Units all over the world. Their feed-back helps us to develop even better and safer equipment for any sport diver. Our success is based on believe that only active divers challenging themselves to go over common boundaries can develop truly efficient, modular, functional and reliable equipment. Starting with design that comes from in-house development for BtS, Halcyon, DUI and DiveXtras products, continuing with material choice and production process (in Germany, Italy and USA) we strive for excellence that will satisfy most demanding divers in their diving ventures. 5 TLS suits are light, flexible and dry very quickly. Available in Self Don and Shoulder Entry designs. STYLES FLX Extreme uses Trilaminate material made of Polyester/Butyl Rubber/Polyester & Cordura upper body overlay and knee overlays. CLX uses Cordura Polyester blend / Butyl Rubber / Polyester on the upper portion and Polyester / Butyl Rubber / Polyester on the lower portion making the suit extra durable. CF200 suits are made out of DUI s patented Crushed Neoprene and offer the highest durability. Available in Self Don and Shoulder Entry designs. FLX50/50 suits are hybrids combining DUI s patented Crushed Neoprene on the lower body and lightweight Trilaminate fabric on the upper body offering the best of both worlds. 30/30 suits are designed for use in tropical waters. Made with breathable, lightweight material and ankle seals. It s ideal for all types of watersports including sailing to waterskiing. CN suits are made out of 1,5 mm Hyper-Compressed Neoprene with a heavy-duty nylon laminate. Available in Shoulder Entry design. FIT & SIZING DUI suits are famous for their exceptional fit allowing for maximum range of movements while wearing the suit underwater. Whether you chose a standard, extended size (Select Suit) or made to measure suit (Signature Series) you will not be disappointed as nothing feels like a DUI. NOTHING FITS LIKE A DUI Select Suits are available in extended sizing (including short & tall sizes), ZipSeals System (or old style glued seals), overlay color choice as well as choice between TurboBoots or RockBoots (neoprene sock with RockBoots). Signature Suits are a made-to-measure suits allowing for best fit, all options from a Select Suit and additionally a Signature Series Patch. 39 "P" VALVE SYSTEM Considered a must for any Dry Suit Diver undertaking moderate to long underwater exposures. Allows a diver to relieve himself while immersed. There is a clear link between effective decompression and hydration. A dehydrated diver will often act irresponsibly and there is evidence indicating that dehydration is a major contributor to decompression illness. Divers can remain comfortable and avoid health risks. Overboard Discharge System «P-Valve» ,00 The new P-Valve has many advantages. Besides streamlining, the valve cap allows for easy operation and maintenance access. The interior hose assembly design makes suit donning and removal simple. Total design consists of three Delrin pieces, which makes installation fast and easy. The P-Valve s internal mushroom valve has been specifically chosen for precision flow rate and minimal backpressure. Kit includes a flat spanner and a singleuse tube of Aqua Seal. The P-Valve will facilitate overboard discharge of urine through a Dry Suit or Wet Suit. CATHETERS Wideband Catheters by Rochester Medical, USA are well suited to be used together with the Halcyon P-Valve. Made out of soft breathable silicone and with an expanded adhesive area. Rochester Wideband catheters are available in 5 different sizes. They provide 70% more adhesive area than other traditional self adhering designs. Combined with patented forward placement of the adhesive, this design helps prevent accidental catheter detachment.
