1 Fotopoulou,Psichogios-, Types of Capitalist Systems and the Studies for Management and Economics in Europe: The case of Greece Fotopoulou Dialechti Research Assistant South East European Research Center The University of Sheffield Psichogios Alexandros Lecturer, Research Coordinator Dept. of Management and Economics City College The University of Sheffield Abstract Most of the Schools in Management and Economics offer MBAs that cover mostly general managerial issues. This fact, along with several other factors is referred by some academics as the application of the agglosaxon education model. If this is a reality, it poses several questions regarding education in general and specifically in management, especially for countries like Greece that like other countries in the Mediteranean does not possess the same institutional characteristics like the agglosaxon countries. Keywords: Isomorphism, Institutional Theories, Agglosaxon Education, MBA, Mediteranean Economies, Management practices. JEL Classification: 10, 16, 23, 52 PRIME
