5 introduction The PACCAR Medical Education Center, located on the campus of Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, was created as a breakthrough initiative to meet the future needs for health care professionals in our region - from nurses and physicians, to allied health professionals. The primary initial focus is to offer local, quality nursing education in South Central Ohio. The Center offers a pre - licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program through Wright State Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health. Students in the program will be able to complete prerequisite courses at Ohio University - Chillicothe, or another college, and BSN coursework at the Center. In addition, cohorts of Adena Health System Associate Degree Nurses currently are earning their BSN degree via Ohio University with classes being held at the PACCAR Medical Education Center. The Center also provides continuing education and training programs for allied health professionals and physicians, placing Adena on the map as a regional learning center for medical professionals. 3
