Termination of these services require 30 days notification ed to info@1stweb.co.za, as long as your account is up to date your request will be honoured. Data stored data is kept for Anti Virus Protection To protect the integrity of all client data on our servers, any device* used by the client or appointed third party accessing our servers to change or maintain websites via FTP must without any exception have full purchased anti-virus software protection (including latest software updates) at all times. 4 Without a doubt, the best and quickest way to drive traffic (visitors) to your website is with Google s AdWords What is Google AdWords? Google AdWords is a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising service, where you pay Google every time someone clicks on your advert and visits your website. Unlike SEO (Search Engine Optimization), PPC advertising guarantees you a top rank for any keyword or key phrase on Google s search results see figure 1 below Another huge advantage is that your website will rank on Google immediately. How Google AdWords Works You the advertiser decide on a daily budget you wish to spend on Google AdWords, we suggest starting with around R50.00 per day, this does not mean that you will spend R50.00 every day, it all depends on how many times your adverts are clicked on. Each keyword/ key phrase (search term) you want to rank for has a monetary value; this amount is determined by Google, depending on how popular the specific keyword/phrase is. For example the key phrase, band saw, has a value of R12.37 while key phrase woodworking band saw has a value of R4.65, so if your advert is clicked on 5 times it will cost you R Note: Even though your advert will be viewed thousands of times (called impressions ), you only pay when a visitor clicks on your advert and visits your website. Figure 1
5 What We Offer 1stWeb offer an Advanced AdWords Campaign Management Service whereby we: Research 100 s of keywords & key phrases (search terms) for your specific products and services utilizing paid keyword databases to find the keywords most likely to return good click through rates (CTR) to your website. Over time, with our proven test methods, find which keywords/phrases work with which adverts and which don t, this allows us to get the most out of the maximum keywords possible for your products/services, should your budget allow. Create, monitor, split test, change and refine adverts continuously, to find which ads receive the most click thru rates without having to pay top dollar to rank on the of Google. Utilize 30 proven advert title writing, plus 51 advert copy wring techniques to create quality adverts to drive visitors to your website and reduce the cost per click. Create new web pages for products and services to boost Google quality score if required, at no extra cost. Weekly reports, so you can monitor how much you are spending and view visitors to your website. What is CTR (Click Thru Rate): CTR is the number of times your advert is clicked on compared to the number of times it is shown to visitors. How is it calculated? Clicks / ad impressions = CTR (an impression is every time your advert is shown to a visitor) Example: A website with 2345 impressions and 46 clicks would have a CTR of 1.96%. The more clicks you get, the more visitors to your website, the more conversions from visitor s to customers you are likely to generate. With AdWords and our standard SEO techniques, you have the best of both worlds, covering the organic search results as well as the paid advertising. We add new pages when and where required to your website free of charge, to increase advert quality score, which not only helps to convert visitors to customers but in turn lowers the actual amount you pay to Google for those specific search terms. Costs Setting up initial adverts and conducting keyword research: R500 once off Keywords or key phrases (Search Terms) Monthly Maintenance Cost 1 to 5 R Additional Search terms Payment R each 1 st Month Say you decide to start with a budget of R50.00 per day for your Google AdWords, this will cost you R50.00 x 30.4 day period = R our setup fee of R500 and R maintenance fee (5 search terms). Total: R Thereafter R50.00 x 30.4 = R our maintenance fee of R = R The amount of keywords you want us to utilize on Google depends on how much you are willing to spend on your daily budget (see table above)

Advantages of Pay Per Click (PPC) Google Advertising compared to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Instant listing With PPC advertising: you rank immediately for keywords/key phrases With SEO, it can take new websites up to 2-3 months for Google s robots to index their web pages, and then your ranking is still not guaranteed. Small websites also rank With PPC advertising: you can rank on the 1 st page of Google even with a small website. With SEO you normally need to have a large amount of text information about each product and service and numerous web pages, because the more text you have to distribute your keywords through, the more chance you have of ranking on Google. Direct visitors to the correct place With PPC advertising: we have the advantage of being able to directly link your Google advert to a specific web page on your website, thus allowing us to deliver the exact information which we want the visitor to access or what he is looking for. With SEO it is sometimes difficult to send the visitor to the correct webpage, as there are so many factors which Google uses to rank your web page/s and this can be frustrating to the visitor as he may have to browse through your site to get what he is looking for, thus increasing the chances of him leaving your website. Ranking guaranteed With PPC advertising: you are guaranteed to be on the first page of Google for any keyword or phrase, basically you can dominate Google for your keywords/phrases, if you are willing to pay enough. With SEO it is almost impossible to rank on 1 st or even the 2 nd page of Google for all your keywords/phrases, which means you are losing out on additional potential traffic/customers to your site. Multiple rankings With paid advertising: you can rank a single web page for numerous different keyword phrases or combinations thereof With SEO you would have to have many web pages to be able to do this, as SEO can only manage 2 3 key phrases per web page, because the more keywords you add to the optimization the weaker they become on that page.
