The module "mines" the Syncade electronic batch records (EBR) database for parameter values using a combination of a stored procedure and a selection of search criteria. PM can put the values returned by a search into a spreadsheet, which can be downloaded to your local machine for analysis. Thus, you can view and compare parameters across orders.

2 Benefits Simplify Data Export. Process Miner provides a convenient way to get batch record production data from the Syncade system into an easy to read spreadsheet format. Orders may be searched and compared across a particular product or product class. Within these select orders, Process Miner can then compare or combine some or all of the specific parameters as determined by the user. Filters for varying degrees of critical processing parameter levels can be added to the data queries. Process Miner can search both discrete and continuous Syncade data and then return both numeric and non-numeric information across current manufacturing, completed, or archived product records. Speed Repetitive Data Mining. Need to run common queries time and time again? Create and save the personal search criteria to increase productivity. Process Miner can save product level, as well as, parameter specific queries. This tool is not only convenient for extracting data for statistical analysis but can also save time on recurrent tasks such as weekly, monthly or annual reporting. Enable Data Comparison across Recipe Variations. As a product's life cycle matures, the recipe used to make that product will often be refined or modified. Process Miner retrieves the data required regardless of the current version of the recipe. Process Miner will display data sets grouped by recipe version, making it easier to decide what data needs to be mined. In addition, if the product is made via an alternate recipe, a drop down menu will list the various alternatives from which to choose data. All product specific data across a wide variety of executed product recipes will be available. Quickly Deploy the Solution. Process Miner is a true zero-client, web-based solution that won't slow down the production system during queries. It quickly installs, validates, and deploys the solution to all the users from the centralized Syncade database server. Process Miner is immediately available for queries. The capacity is only limited to the quantity of applicable data in the manufacturing databases. Maintain Compliance and Secure Database. Process Miner is fully compliant with all relevant cgxp regulations, including 21CFR Part 11. User permissions verify that only those with the proper credentials have access to the data. All data is read from the database and no information is written to or deleted from the database. Product Description Managers and production personnel responsible for batch record data analysis will find Process Miner makes searching historical Syncade batch record data easy. Since meaningful analysis suggests the need to compare the same kind of data, PM restricts its searches to one product code per search, and ultimately to a group of parameters. After the orders are selected, Process Miner displays the recipe in its hierarchy and also displays the instructions and actual parameter values. Based on easily built queries, Process Miner pulls data from the EBR database and makes it available for reporting or exporting it into spreadsheets where the data can be used for further analysis on the user's machine. 2

4 General System Requirements A server class PC with Internet Explorer is needed to support the Syncade solution. Microsoft SQL Server is the underlying database. For client access, a PC with Internet Explorer is needed.
