1 About Pomona College Pomona College is one of the premier liberal arts colleges in the world. Ranked in the top 10 in the Forbes Magazine list of America s Top Colleges and No. 5 by U.S. News and World Reports, the College is a close-knit community of accomplished scholars, scientists, entrepreneurs and artists who are passionate about learning and making a difference in the world. Located about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, Pomona is the founding member of The Claremont Colleges, a consortium of five undergraduate colleges and two graduate institutions. Our students come from 47 states and 35 countries, from both private and public high schools. More than 91 percent of first-year students in 2013 were ranked in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class. With a student faculty ratio of 8:1, students work closely with their professors in the classroom, in the lab and in the field. About 64 percent of Pomona faculty members currently work with one or more students on research projects. The College also funds part-time internships during the academic year and full-time opportunities, both domestic and international, during the summer. Study Abroad More than 50 percent of Pomona students study abroad each year in 50 programs in 31 countries. Financial Aid Pomona is among fewer than 2 percent of four-year colleges and universities that admit students regardless of their ability to pay and meet the full demonstrated need of all admitted students. 56 percent of students receive financial aid. $41,213 was the average amount of financial aid awarded (2013).

On-Campus Interviewing We invite you to recruit on campus at your convenience during the academic year. We ll manage the entire process, from posting and publicizing the position to scheduling interviews. There is no cost to host interviews or other recruiting events on Pomona s campus. Pre-selected interviews: See resumes in advance and choose students you wish to interview. The selected students will sign up for pre-determined time slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Open schedule interviews: Interested students sign up for interviews on a firstcome, first-served basis. If you can t make it to campus, you may electronically collect resumes and arrange interviews at your office. Information Sessions Conduct a presentation on campus or present your content virtually. You ll have the chance to introduce your organization, inform students about open positions or programs and build relationships with students across The Claremont Colleges.
