2 MISSION STATEMENT Prepare students for job placement or further education leading to success employment Develop partnerships with affiliated schools, parents, business, industry and community Provide student with skills that last a lifetime Measure success by student attainment of marketable occupational skills Promote the development of sound character, good citizenship, the ability to think critically and the desire to achieve a high level of craftsmanship Offering a learning environment that provides skills, knowledge and values

5 MEETING SPECIAL NEEDS IN SPECIAL WAYS Vocational Evaluation Designed to determine interests, skills and aptitudes Work oriented environment Process identifies appropriate vocational cluster Vocational Individual Education Plan Report submitted to home school indicates strengths, interests and weaknesses Recommendations are made to help the home school to formulate a career plan for each student Program Length Evaluation process may take up to 7 days
