How do I deposit money? -Use Direct Deposit for your payroll or government checks; this gives you instant access to your funds without having to visit a branch. Most employers and most government agencies offer this free service. If your employer does offer Direct Deposit, great! What is the Monthly Qualification Cycle? -Beginning the first day of the calendar month and ending the last business day of the calendar month. 12. Will I get credit for my debit card purchase transactions on the same day I make my purchases? -No. Debit card purchase transactions must POST and CLEAR during the Monthly Qualification Cycle (see above) to count toward qualifications requirements. When you use your debit card, the merchant places a memo hold on your account in the amount of your purchase.* Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. It will not actually POST until the business processes their transactions. Thus, the posting of your POS (Point of Sale) transactions are controlled by the business and not Peoples Bank of Kankakee County. While most of our customers meet their debit card requirements early in the Qualification Cycle, for those who use their Debit cards less, we suggest that you try to make all 2
3 12 required debit card purchase transactions by the 25 th of the month to give time for the business to process the transactions so they can POST and CLEAR your account prior to the end of the Monthly Qualification Cycle. Transactions that are memo posted and not yet posted to your account will be shown with asterisk (*) indicating this is a pending transaction. *Some merchants, such as gas stations, car rental retailers, or hotels may actually place a hold on your account for an amount larger than your actual purchase. 13. If I miss my qualifications by only one debit transaction, can I call in and get my interest and ATM refunds anyway? -No. However there are no service charges and you will still earn 0.10% APY*. 14. Can the Rate/APY change on my Possibilities CHECKING account? -Yes, all Rates/APYs on Possibilities CHECKING may change at Peoples Bank of Kankakee County s discretion. 15. Is Possibilities CHECKING insured? -Yes. Possibilities CHECKING is fully backed up to the FDIC insurance maximum. 16. Is there a minimum balance to maintain or to earn rewards? -No! That is one of the many great benefits of Possibilities CHECKING. 17. Will I be reimbursed for my Possibilities CHECKING account ATM transaction fees after each withdrawal or at the end of the month? - If you have met your qualifications for the specified qualification cycle, we will reimburse you for domestic ATM fees up to $25 per qualification cycle. ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your account on the last day of your statement cycle. ATM fees of $4.99 or less will be reimbursed when qualifications are met. ATM fees of $5.00 and higher will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $5.00 per individual transaction if the appropriate ATM receipt is presented to a representative at one of our branches. If you believe that you have not been reimbursed the correct amount, please contact us. We must hear from you no later than 30 days after the statement cycle when the reimbursement was applicable. Note: ATM withdrawals do not count as qualifying debit card transactions for purposes of earning rewards within this account. 18. Are fees refunded on ATMs used internationally? -No, nationwide (domestic) only. 19. If my account balance goes negative, will I still be able to qualify for my rewards during that Monthly Qualification cycle? -Yes, as long as the monthly qualifications are met. 20. What if my new debit card does not arrive until late in the cycle and I do not have time to earn my first month s rewards? 3

Can I open multiple Possibilities CHECKING accounts? -This offer is limited to one account per customer. 24. Can this be used as a business account? -No, it must be used for personal use. 25. Is overdraft protection available for Possibilities CHECKING accounts? -Yes. Our Overdraft Reserve (sm) overdraft protection service is made available to you after your account is open 30 days, if your account is in good standing. Can I open a Possibilities SAVER account without opening a Possibilities CHECKING account? -No. You need Possibilities CHECKING to have Possibilities SAVER because they work together. Possibilities SAVER is automatically fed by the high interest earned and ATM fee refunds from your Possibilities CHECKING to help you save more and save often. 2. Do I earn interest on both the Possibilities CHECKING account and Possibilities SAVER account? -Yes! And the interest earned on your Possibilities CHECKING account is automatically deposited into your Possibilities SAVER account each month. Plus, even if you don t meet the monthly qualifications one month you still get a base interest rate on both accounts. 3. Are there qualifications for Possibilities SAVER AND Possibilities CHECKING? -To receive the higher level of interest on BOTH accounts you just do the simple qualifications each Monthly Qualification Cycle on your Possibilities CHECKING account: Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and clear to your Possibilities CHECKING account per monthly qualification cycle. Do I get checks for my Saver account? -No, Possibilities SAVER cannot be accessed by check. 6. You can also use this card to withdraw money or transfer money in your Possibilities SAVER account at ATMs nationwide. 7.
