How to enter and how to win: The Halloween Horror Nights 25 at Universal Orlando Resort 2015 Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) entry period begins September 14, 2015, and ends on October 19, 2015 at 5 p.m. ET (the Sweepstakes Entry Period ). For purposes of this Sweepstakes, all times refer to Eastern Time ( ET ). To submit an entry, go to Entrants must complete all fields in the online entry form and submit it online. Information required on the entry form (collectively, Entry Information ) consists of first and last name, complete address, telephone number including area code, date of birth, and address. Limit one entry per person during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Entries in excess of the stated limit will be rejected or disqualified and are not eligible entries. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. ET on October 19, On or soon after October 20, 2015, One (1) Grand Prize Winner and Twenty (20) Secondary Prize Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received. By entering, you agree to comply with all applicable law and these Sweepstakes rules, and you agree to abide by all decisions of the Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, electronic and entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the address referenced in the entry. The authorized account holder is the person to whom the applicable internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the address at the time of entry. Sponsor may not verify receipt of entries. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, incomprehensible, illegible, damaged, undeliverable or delayed. Entries generated by any automated means that are detected as such are void. Winners will be notified by phone, , or by other means, based on the contact information provided in the entry. Winners must respond to such notification, by calling the Sweepstakes coordinator provided in the notification, within forty-eight (48) hours after the notification is sent by Sponsor, or the Winner will be subject to disqualification, in which case the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Winner will be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Winners may be required to sign and return appropriate forms and/or documentation, including an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and/or where 1

2 legally permissible a Publicity Release within three (3) days following the date of first attempted notification. Winner hereby further agrees that it will sign any documents necessary to transfer copyright of the entry to Sponsor within three (3) days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to sign and return such forms within the requisite timeframe could result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, incomprehensible, illegible, or out-ofservice contact information. If Sponsor is unable, after making a reasonable effort, to contact a selected potential winner, that potential winner will be disqualified and a new potential winner will be selected from remaining entries until all qualified Winners are chosen. 2. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal U.S. residents who are physically located and residing within counties located within the Orlando-Daytona Beach- Melbourne Designated Market Area as defined by Nielsen Media Research and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of WESH, WKCF, Orlando Hearst Television, Inc., Hearst Television Inc., the Hearst Corporation, Lakana, Universal Orlando, Universal City Development Partners, Ltd., those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this Sweepstakes, their advertising or promotion agencies, parent companies, agents, officers, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates, participating stations, service providers, any other persons or entities directly associated with this Sweepstakes (collectively Sweepstakes Entities ), members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouses), and/or persons living in the same households as such persons (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Internet access is necessary to enter. 3. Prizes/Odds of Winning: Prize. One (1) grand prize and Twenty (20) secondary prizes will be offered. Must be 18 years of age or older. One (1) Grand Prize will be offered, with an estimated total retail value of $1, The Grand prize consists of Four (4) Halloween Horror Nights 25 event tickets ($248.00) and Four (4) Halloween Horror Nights 25 Express Passes ($380.00) valid through November 1, Four (4) 1-Day Universal Orlando tickets with Park-to- Park access valid for admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks valid through November 30, 2015 ($588) and One (1) Universal Orlando general parking pass valid through November 30, 2015 ($17). Each secondary prize consists of Two (2) Halloween Horror Nights 25 event tickets ($124.00) valid through November 1, 2015, Two (2) Universal Orlando tickets with Park-to-Park access valid for admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks valid through November 30, 2015 ($294.00) and One (1) Universal Orlando general parking pass valid through November 30, 2015 ($17). Grand prize has a fair market value of $1, Each secondary prize has a fair market value of $

3 Prize components may not be sold, traded, or transferred by winners, nor may they be rescheduled by winners, or refunded, except in Sponsor s sole discretion. Winner and guests are responsible for all other costs and incidentals. All expenses not specified as included are the responsibility of the winner and guest, including but not limited to, meals, gratuities, phone calls, transportation, and all taxes. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution is allowed, except by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion. In the event prize (or any prize component) is not available for any reason, Sponsor may substitute a prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value. SPONSOR AND ITS AGENTS ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED OR PRIZE- RELATED ACTIVITY. All dates and times are subject to change in the event of technical issues affecting the website, entry process, selection process, or relevant on-air programming or in the event of breaking news or national or local emergency or condition that is of greater public importance, in Sponsor s sole discretion, than the timely or precise execution of the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries. 4. Claiming Prize: Winners may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release when claiming prize. To claim prize components at the WESH/WKCF studios, winners must provide valid government-issued photo identification by 5 pm on October 23, Only the actual winner may claim their prize, and prizes are non-transferable by winners. Winners must claim prizes at the WESH Television Studios located at 1021 N. Wymore Road, Winter Park, FL between regular business hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Failure to timely claim prize will result in the forfeiture of the unclaimed prize components, and such prize components will remain the property of Sponsor and/or prize supplier. WESH/ WKCF will give the winner an order confirmation that contains specific direction on where to pick up the order. Once winner has claimed prize components/ order confirmation at WESH/ WKCF studios, winner will claim actual prize tickets at Universal Orlando. The most efficient way to pick up tickets is at the Will Call Kiosks which are located at the front gate of either Universal Studios Florida or Universal s Island of Adventure. At the kiosks, winner will need to swipe a credit card for identification purposes only (the credit card will not be charged). The name on the credit card must match the name of the actual prize winner. In the event card does not 3

4 work or that winner does not have a credit card, please go to the front gate ticket window where you will need to show your valid photo ID. 5. Publicity Release: Except where prohibited, entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant s consent to use, publish, reproduce and for all purposes, including publicity, promotion and advertising, in any media (including without limitation, the Internet, television, radio, or offline promotions), each Winner s name, city, photograph, likeness, biographical material, voice, image, each in perpetuity without further compensation, credit or right of review or approval. 6. Terms and Conditions/Liability Waiver: Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and is governed by all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By entering, participants agree to be bound to these Sweepstakes rules and agree to abide by all decisions of Sponsor, including the interpretation of any ambiguities, in Sponsor s sole discretion. By returning the completed Affidavit/Release, winner attests the authenticity of his/her winning entry. Each guest (his/her parent/legal guardian if deemed to be a minor), at Sponsor s sole discretion, may be required to execute, sign, have notarized and return a Liability Release, a Publicity Release and any other documentation that Sponsor requires. Except where prohibited by law and Sponsor s Privacy Policies: (1) entry and/or winner s acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities use of winner s name, address (city and state), photo, likeness, biographical information, statement and voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further notice to or compensation in connection with said Sweepstakes or the prize awarded and (2) Sponsor has the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and/or dispose of entries however it sees fit and for any purpose without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with this Sweepstakes may be prosecuted and is not eligible for the prize. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes or by winning, participants grant to the Sweepstakes Entities the right to publicize the participant s name, photograph, image, likeness, voice, statements, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotion purposes without 4

5 compensation and without opportunity for review, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor retains the discretion to make all decisions regarding the interpretation and application of these rules. All decisions of Sponsor are final and discretionary. In the event the selected winner of a prize is ineligible, refuses the prize, or if the prize is forfeited for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may randomly select an alternate winner from remaining entries pursuant to the selection criteria described above and if time permits. The laws of the State of Florida shall govern this Sweepstakes, without regard to Florida s or any other jurisdiction s choice of law rules. The courts of Florida in Orange County shall be the exclusive forum and venue for any dispute relating to these rules, terms and conditions and/or this Sweepstakes. All participants and winners agree, by their participation in the Sweepstakes, to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Florida in Orange County. For prizes valued at $600 or greater, winner must provide his or her Social Security Number for tax purposes. Prizes may be considered income, and any and all taxes associated with prizes are responsibility of winner. 7. Disclaimers/ Internet: Sweepstakes Entities, their affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies, their employees, agents and officers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes are not responsible for: (1) problems associated with television transmission, radio transmission, cable transmission, satellite transmission, communications networks, phone lines, facsimile, or cable lines and/or phone or IP numbers that are beyond their control. This includes, but is not limited to: any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in operation or transmission at any website, or wireless calling/text message carrier service, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; failure of any entry to be received in whole or in part by Sponsor due to technical problems, telephone service problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or wireless calling/text message carrier service; communications line, hardware and/or software failures, malfunction of phones (including wireless phones/handsets), phone lines, other communications malfunctions, unavailable network connections, cellular equipment towers, telephone systems or wireless service; damage to any computer (software or hardware) resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, or damage to mobile phone or other PDA device; a busy signal, operator interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of a phone call, facsimile transmission, transmission, or cable modem service, or other wireless or wireline or Internet interruptions or malfunctions or for technical or other difficulties which may prohibit, prevent, or interfere with the transmission of television or radio signals to all or limited geographic areas during the playing of the Sweepstakes or that may prohibit, prevent, or interfere with the acquisition, completion, or submission of an entry; failures of or other problems relating to computer or communications hardware, software, the Internet, or similar systems, including but not limited to difficulties relating to entrants ISP, DSL, wireless or cable modem access, worms, or viruses or any other problem of any description or nature which may prohibit prevent or interfere with the acquisition, completion or submission of an entry; (2) typographical errors in any materials relating to the Sweepstakes; (3) lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, or delayed entry forms; (4) cancellations, postponements, or delays; (5) Acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulation, 5

In the event of any of the foregoing, Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, terminate, modify, or continue the Sweepstakes, in its sole discretion. SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES MAKE NO WARRANTY, GUARANTEE, OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND CONCERNING ANY PRIZE, AND SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, WARRANTY OF FITNESS, AND ANY OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTY. 8. Arbitration/Choice of Law: Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association then effective, and any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred by entrant with regard to this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys fees, punitive, incidental, consequential or other damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of New York or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York. New York County shall be the exclusive forum for any dispute relating to these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes. All participants and winners agree, by their participation in the Sweepstakes, to submit to personal jurisdiction in New York County. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the invalidity or unenforceability of any other provision so long as the general intent of these Official Rules remains in effect. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. 9.
