4 Welcome About Us Established in 1989, we have over 20 years experience in providing an enjoyable and interactive learning environment for all students. Our language school is approved by the Department of Science for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language, MEI RELSA & ACELS. High quality Since 1989, we have provided the highest quality courses and services for both junior and adult individuals and groups. The school is recognised by the Department of Skills for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language and is accredited by MEI RELSA and ACELS. As welfare is an important feature of the school, the best possible support is given at all times. Students are invited to approach the in house coordinators or management team with any queries they may have. This helps us immediately address and resolve any issues which may have occurred.

7 Leisure Activities Bundoran provides a wide range of entertainment for people of all ages such as a large Golf Course, Waterworld, The Funfair, Bowling, Cinemas, etc. The two main beaches provide a great source of enjoyment main beach is centrally located in the town while Tullan Strand offers a breath taking 10 km stretch of beach with a back drop of a 100 sq acres of sand dunes and is the main activity hub of the town where you will find surfers, horse riding and walkers enjoying all that nature has to offer. The main two leisure attractions to Bundoran are Surfing and Horse Riding. Stunning Surfing Bundoran Surf Co affiliated to We offer first class English and Surfing packages. Bundoran is known as the surf capital of Ireland. So it is a great place to learn or advance in surfing. All levels are catered for in our surfing camps. With numerous beaches and reef breaks on our doorstep, there is a beach to suit every level. Tuition and video analysis is provided by our fully qualified instructors. All equipment is also provided. We are ideally situated for access to the numerous surf spots in and around Bundoran. The world famous Peak is just a 5 minute walk away, providing the most consistent and best quality surf in Ireland (experienced surfers only!) For beginners and intermediates there is also Main Beach and Tullan Strand. There are also Rossnowlagh, Streedagh and Strandhill beaches just a short drive away guaranteeing year round swell. Spectacular Horse Riding The Equestrian Centre affiliated to us offers premium English and Equestrian Holidays. With over 45 horses and ponies to choose from, each guest receives a horse for the duration suited to their level. The activities include beach rides on our 10km stretch of beach, treks through our rolling sand dunes, lessons, trail rides, lunging, video analysis, flatwork, jumping, cross country for the novice upwards (weather dependant) and stable management. Breathtaking Hill Walking Easy access to counties Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim, offers a hill walker s delight. Our experienced guides will take you through deserted villages, megalithic tombs, holy wells, sweat houses (old saunas) and show you magnificent views as well as an insight into the wildlife, flora and fauna that the North West of Ireland has to offer.

18 High School Programme We provide academic semesters in conjunction with Magh Ene College Bundoran, Co Donegal, Ireland. The High School Programme is open to students aged years who wish to learn English and immerse themselves into the Irish culture and way of life. Our programme provides students with an invaluable opportunity for personal development, increasing cultural knowledge and awareness, and gaining confidence in using another language. 21 ADULT COURSES We offer a range of courses that have been carefully designed and prepared to meet the needs of the students who choose us to help them learn and enhance their English language skills. Our extensive range of English Language Courses includes: General English: this is an 'all-round' course, specially designed and conducted to encourage you to join in, grow in confidence and develop your knowledge of good, practical English. Intensive English: the Intensive English course is dedicated to providing improvement in the core language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Intensive Examination Preparation: specialising in IELTS & Cambridge FCE and CAE exams, we offer 4 week dedicated to examination preparation and practice. Business English: this is an excellent combination course for students who not only want to improve their existing General English skills but also to learn the language of the business world. One to One: one to one classes are completely tailor-made to suit your exact learning needs. Ideal for someone wishing to increase their level of English in a short period of time. 23 General Business English This is an excellent combination course for students who not only want to improve their existing General English skills but also to learn the language of the business world. General English is studied in morning classes and Business English in the Afternoon sessions. 26 A Central Base for the Traveller Whichever course is chosen, Bundoran provides a good base for travelling around Ireland. Students at Wecan easily visit some of Ireland s major cities and cultural sites. Sligo Derry Galway Belfast Dublin 30 minutes 1.5 hours 2.5hours 2.5hours 3 hours As Bundoran is situated on the Donegal, Sligo, Fermanagh and Leitrim Border, it is the perfect platform to explore four of Ireland s most beautiful counties. This gives you the freedom to explore Slieve League cliffs situated on the West coast of Donegal, the highest and finest marine cliffs in Europe with a 600m drop straight into the wild, Atlantic waves below, for the literary enthusiasts Yeats country is only a 15 minute drive and for wildlife fans why not check out the golden eagles or red deer at Glenveagh National Park.

28 Accommodation Choices We provide student accommodation in our residential complex of spacious 4 bedroom houses. We also work with a select number of host families. Bed and breakfast and Quality hotel accommodation can also be booked Residential Accommodation The residential accommodation consists of a small complex of spacious 4 bedroom houses. The facilities of the house include 4 bedrooms, 3 to 4 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, sitting room and all mod cons. The houses are situated in a quiet cul de sac less than one minute s walk from the Atlantic Ocean and 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Where possible our student coordinator ensures nationality mix in each house which aids English language learning and cultural awareness. Adults The adult accommodation is based on 4 6 people per house. The houses are fully equipped to offer self catering services Juniors The junior accommodation is based on 8 10 students and 1 coordinator per house. Full board is included for the junior packages. Host Family We offer a select number of host families that offer a warm welcome and a home from home experience..host families are within 5 15 minutes of the centre. Adults A private room with half-board accommodation is offered (breakfast and an evening meal) Juniors There are 2/3 juniors per family. Juniors residing at host family have their lunch and dinner at the residential centre in order to ensure that they mix well with the other students.

How to find us Bundoran is located on the Northwest of Ireland. The majority of students coming to us, come through Dublin airport where we organise regular transfers every Sunday*. From Dublin you can also arrive by public bus, where we offer free collections on your arrival at Ballyshannon which is 5 minutes from Bundoran.
