1 Sample Baby Dedication (Designed for Multiple Children) It s my distinct privilege and honor today to perform the dedication of these children. I ve never made it a secret how strongly I feel about the dedication of babies and I feel that strongly yet today. Today in your arms you hold the blessings of the Lord upon your life. The Bible tells us...

2 (Psalms 127:3-5 KJV) Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. {4} As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. {5} Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. To make is easier to understand, the Bible is simply saying that children are an inheritance from the Lord and will become a reward to the righteous. According to the Bible children are like arrows - a type of strength - to their parents.

3 Children have a way of strengthening your maturity, they strengthen your level of responsibility and sometimes strengthen your trust in God. These children have - and will continue to have - an indelible impact on your life. On the very same token, your life and how you live it will also have an eternal impact

4 on their life. This is why the Bible tells us in... (Proverbs 20:7 KJV) The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. As surely are your home will be blessed by the presence of these children they will be blessed or cursed by the life you live in front of them. This is one of the reasons we have baby dedications; to put these children in God s hands and our

5 minds into the proper perspective of our responsibility. In this service of dedication we are First to give thanks to God for the creation and birth of that child. In the second place, we are to make a solemn promise as parents and as a Church that we ll join our efforts to provide guidance for these children in instruction, in discipline

6 and in experiencing God s plan of salvation. In the third place, we are to pray for God s blessings upon these children and offer them - in due time - back into the service of the Lord. And now I acknowledge [Parents Name] who present these children before God and this congregation that God called His

11 Do you vow to be a God fearing Mother to these children bringing them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord? o (Await answer...) TO BOTH PARENTS Do you both promise to uphold God s command of Deuteronomy to Parents when the Almighty said... (Deuteronomy 6:4-7 KJV)

12 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: {5} And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. {6} And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: {7} And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Is it your intention to minister this precious Apostolic truth to these children? TO THE CONGREGATION

And do you promise to minister to them in Apostolic doctrine with Apostolic methods until they come to know God themselves in the power of the new birth experience? If you accept this
