2 Research Methods This research was completed online among a random sample of consumers aged 18+. A total of 1,000 interviews were completed. Interviewing was conducted by Ebiquity between August 19 and September 2, The overall results have a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence.

On average, consumers tell 8 people about their good experiences (15 in 2012; 9 in 2011), and over twice as many people about their bad experiences (21; 24 in 2012; 16 in 2011).
