3 Day 8 - Palm Cove is said to be the most beautiful of Cairns beaches. Idyllic and serene, the silver sand contrasts with the blue lagoon like water. Sit back and laze away the day and when the sun get s too much, mosey along the tree-lined boulevard peeking into the many boutique stores and cafes to while away into the evening. Day 9 - Take a short drive to the Daintree River and if you re lucky, snap a crocodile basking on the banks of the silent waters. Following the boat ride, travel up to the stunning Alexandra Range, passing through rainforest waterfalls on route for a homely morning tea deep in the rainforest. Energized, you will be guided to where the rainforest meets the sea before an afternoon in the tropical fruit orchard. Day 10 - Board a luxury catamaran and spend the morning gently sailing to the Great Barrier Reef. Get into the water and see the Reef at an arms distance.
