1 Ohio Elite Soccer Academy Girls U13 & U14 ITP July 13-24, 2016 Denmark & Sweden OHIO ELITE SOCCER ACADEMY International Training Program (ITP). The 5 th annual International Training Program (ITP) will travel to Denmark and Sweden to train, compete in Gothia Cup, and develop as players on and off the field. The International Training Program has been designed to expose Ohio Elite players to various soccer cultures, develop their understanding for the game from a different prospective, and to give them an opportunity to experience life in another part of the world. The International Training Program will provide selected club players with an excellent soccer playing experience and opportunity to travel and compete in Denmark and Sweden. This tour will provide players with a top-notch, professionally coordinated soccer tour from training with FC Nordsjaelland (FCN) to friendly matches to tournament competition in the Gothia Cup, which is the world s largest youth international tournament with over 1,750 teams from 70 different countries. The intent of this trip is to continue to provide player-first development, which will be under the direction and leadership of the Associate Director of Coaching and International Training Program Director, Marc Sabin. GENERAL PROGRAM Wednesday, July 13 Excitement builds as the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy players, staff, and boosters depart Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) on an overnight flight to Copenhagen, Denmark for their 11-day soccer tour to Denmark and Sweden with participation in the Gothia Cup. Due to the time differences between Europe and the United States the group will arrive in Denmark the following morning. Thursday, July 14 Upon arrival the group will be met by their bi-lingual Danish representative. Transfer to hotel accommodations with players and staff accommodated at Hotel FC Nordsjaelland, which is home of FC Nordsjaelland (FCN), a professional team in the Danish Superliga. Boosters (family members) will be accommodated at the Copenhagen Island Hotel located in heart of Copenhagen. Following check-in the teams will have a light training session at the training facility of FCN. Welcome dinner at the hotel with the reminder of the evening at leisure. (Copenhagen) Friday, July 15

2 Following breakfast, the teams will have a training session with the professional coaches from FC Nordsjaelland (FCN). Afternoon sightseeing in Copenhagen with a guided canal tour of Copenhagen, which is the capital of Denmark and considered by many the capital of Scandinavia. Late afternoon matches (1) versus a Copenhagen Club. Following the matches dinner and social with the host club. (Copenhagen) Saturday, July 16 Following breakfast the teams will have a late morning friendly match (2) versus a Copenhagen club. Following the matches and lunch free time in Copenhagen for sightseeing. Dinner and team activities in the evening. (Copenhagen) Sunday, July 17 Following breakfast, the teams and boosters will depart via private motor coach to Gothenburg, Sweden. While in route through North Zealand the group will visit the famous Frederiksborg Castle for a brief sightseeing tour. The group will arrive in Gothenburg mid-day with players, staff, and boosters being accommodated at Gothia Towers, which is ideally located in the city center and near all the Gothia Cup activities. Following check-in the teams will have tournament registration and the evening to rest and relax. (Gothenburg) Monday, July 18 Participation in the Gothia Cup, the world s largest youth international tournament with over 1,750 teams from over 70 countries. Morning and afternoon games are scheduled. In the evening the Opening Ceremony will take place at Ullevi Stadium. The Opening Ceremony will be one of the highlights of the Gothia Cup as the stadium will be at capacity with teams and players from around the world. (Gothenburg) Tuesday, July 19 Morning and afternoon matches are scheduled. In the evening the players can visit Liseberg Amusement Park, the largest park in northern Europe. (Gothenburg) Wednesday, July 20 Morning and afternoon matches are scheduled. In the afternoon, playoffs begin with teams either advancing in the A bracket or B bracket. In the evening team activities. (Gothenburg) Thursday, July 21 Second round of the Gothia Cup takes place. All teams advance into the playoffs, either into the A or B playoffs, which become single elimination games. Depending on the status of the each team in terms of the tournament, options in case a team is eliminated are: Friendly match vs international team Visit to the archipelago/fjords or the beach Friday, July 22 Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals. Sightseeing and shopping time is available. If teams are eliminated from the tournament, United Soccer Academy will coordinate a minitournament with 2-3 other international teams. 3 Saturday, July 23 Gothia Cup Finals. Depending on the game schedule and status of each team the group will depart for Copenhagen, Denmark in the morning or early afternoon. Upon arrival in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, the group will have free time for sightseeing prior to a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Evening free to visit Tivoli Gardens, the famous amusement park or sightseeing in Copenhagen. (Copenhagen) Sunday, July 24 Transfer to Copenhagen International Airport (CPH) for return flight back to the United States with same day arrival in Cincinnati (CVG). INCLUSIONS Tour price guaranteed in US Dollars. Cost based on 40 full paying participants. Round trip international air transportation/flights. Airline taxes and fuel are not included. Private motor coach for all transfers. Tournament transportation during the Gothia Cup. Guided sightseeing tour and canal cruise in Copenhagen, Demark. Guided visit to Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark. Soccer program in Denmark: o Two (2) training sessions (per team) with FC Nordsjaelland (FCN) coaches. o Two (2) friendly matches (per team) vs Danish teams. Participation and team fees for Gothia Cup, including the Gothia Cup event braclet, ticket for the Opening Ceremony and tournament transportation. Coordination of mini-tournament if team is eliminated from the Gothia Cup (Thursday or Friday). Coordination of excursions to the archipelago/fjords, Marstrand, if a team is eliminated from the Gothia Cup and or for interested parents (schedule permitting). United Soccer Academy tour training/travel top. United Soccer Academy tour manager will provide the group with assistance throughout the tour and at each destination. Full service and support from United Soccer Academy including extensive pre-trip assistance, fundraising, player handbook and newsletters.

In accepting your registration United Soccer Academy agrees to carry out obligations as listed in the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy International Training Program (ITP) European Tour itinerary. The deposit is non-refundable. All travelers are requested to follow the payment plan provided. Tour bookings and flights cannot be guaranteed without adhering to the payment schedule (per participant). Collection of payments and registration forms need to be coordinated by the group leader, team manager, or coach. Deposit Due Date: This is the date in which the Registration Conditions, Registration Form, and deposit need to be in our office. The terms of the conditions are valid until this date. Once a group has paid deposits, any additional players or accompanying parents and or family members booking after this date will receive the same terms (subject to space availability) as long as the maximum number of booked airline seats is not exceeded, there are no deviations to the itinerary and the deposit is made prior to the final payment date. Final Payment Date: The date on which full payment of the final invoice for the group must be received in the United Soccer Academy office. United Soccer Academy books hundreds of people every year and this date is set in conjunction with our overseas partners, tournaments, and airlines in order for us to complete all arrangements and issue documents in a timely manner. Guaranteed Tour Price: The tour price has been computed with all current tariffs, taxes, and exchange rates taken into account and is guaranteed in US dollars until the deposit due date in the Registration Conditions. If your deposit is received by this date, this is the price that you will pay based on the tour and tour inclusions/exclusions. If your deposit is not received by the deposit due date, United Soccer Academy reserves the right to re-compute your tour costing based upon current tariffs, taxes, and exchange rates in effect on that day which may result in a different price. Group Size: The tour cost is based upon a minimum of 40 full paying participants which must be met in order to maintain the guaranteed price. Falling below this minimum number could alter the tour price. Passports and Visas: Please note the difference between a passport and a visa. A passport is issued by the government of citizen s nationality and must be shown upon request to airlines and immigration officials while out of the country of residence. A visa is issued by a government for temporary travel of a foreign national into that country. All travelers must possess a passport with at least six months validity after the scheduled return. For US citizens, a passport is all that required when traveling to most European countries. For non-us citizens, please check with the appropriate consulates of the countries to be visited for information on possible visa requirements. Please refer to the US Government website on passports at for additional information.

6 Late Bookings and/or Deviations: Many airlines require deposits on each individual seat booked to be paid within twenty-one days of confirmation of the airline space. Bookings made after the original allotments of airline seats have been used require additional airline seat requests which are subject to that specific airline's rules. No guarantee is made that the airfare or the terms will be identical to the groups. Land arrangements under these circumstances may be subject to current tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of booking which might be different than the groups. Contracted Airfares: Any deviation from the confirmed dates and flights of the group could result in a different airfare. Those traveling on different days or flights from the group may be subject to individual contract airfares which might have different fares or different rules than the group. After the tickets are issued, name changes at least 48 hours prior to departure can be done for a fee of $ per change. Airline tickets are non-refundable once issued. Changes will be subject to a $ change fee plus any fare difference. Additional restrictions may apply. A Note on Pricing and Airline Taxes/Fuel: The airline negotiated base fare is guaranteed. Taxes and any airline related fee such as fuel surcharges are not included in the tour price. Airline taxes and other fees such as fuel surcharges will be additional to the tour cost and added to the Final Invoice. Once the airline tickets are issued (ticketed) if there is a difference between the calculated amount at the time of the Final Invoice and the actual amount on the date of issue, a Supplemental Invoice will be issued. Additionally, the recalculation of airline ticket taxes due to international exchange rates (since all foreign taxes are subject to this even if the actual tax amount in the foreign currency doesn t change), might result in an additional cost after Final Payment. The total amount of any changes will be reflected in a Supplemental Invoice for all travelers. Luggage: As of August 2015 the maximum weight for each checked luggage to/through/from any destination in Europe is 50lbs/23kgs (subjected to change). Each passenger is allowed two checked bags and one carry-on. Please note luggage rules and restrictions are subject to change. United Soccer Academy will keep the group informed of any new policies and restrictions. Boosters: Boosters are parents, siblings or family members that are participating on tour with the group. Boosters are made mentioned to in the group itinerary. A registration form along with a $ nonrefundable deposit and signed condition form will be needed for each participating booster. Cancellation Policy: Please be aware costs are incurred long before teams depart on their international soccer tour. Deposits and payments are paid to suppliers (airlines, hotels, motor coach companies, and tournaments) throughout the process and all suppliers are paid in full within 45-days of the trip departure. Therefore, we have strict guidelines regarding cancellation based on our suppliers overseas. Please note that notification of cancellation must be in writing or by and received by the dates mentioned below. Please note deposits are non-refundable. The cancellation penalties outlined below are in addition to the $ non-refundable deposit. There will be no exception to the terms and conditions regardless of reason including injuries and medical issues. Travel insurance is highly recommended. From date of enrollment to 91-days to departure: Full refund less a $ cancellation fee (exclusive of $ non-refundable deposit). Between 90 days to 60-days to departure: Full refund less a $ cancellation fee (exclusive of $ non-refundable deposit). Within 45-days to departure: All funds paid into the traveler s account will be forfeited due to late cancellation.

7 SPECIAL TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS United Soccer Academy can provide alternate departure gateways and stay-ahead/stay-behind options. Alternative departure gateways: the tour costs are based on Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) as the gateway, departing city. In cases where individuals wish to travel to and from a gateway other than Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) a surcharge of $50.00 and the cost of the alternate gateway will apply. Please note United Soccer Academy will use its best efforts to coincide these flights with the flights of the group. Decisions on whether or not to change gateways or plans for extended stays on tour cannot be changed later than 90 days prior to departure. Stay-ahead/stay-behind options: United Soccer Academy will make arrangements to extend your stay at the beginning or conclusion of the tour. United Soccer Academy will provide altered flight arrangements according to your request. A $50.00 service charge is payable for such an arrangement and participants will be invoiced for any additional air costs incurred by the new itinerary. United Soccer Academy can also assist with any land arrangements and coordination where needed.
