3 VENUE The home of the Nordic APIs Platform Summit this year is Globen, the largest hemispherical building in the world. It has a seating capacity of 16,000 spectators for shows and concerts (fun fact: this is where the European Song Contest was held earlier this year). Even though the Nordic APIs 2016 Platform Summit won t host an event for 16,000 spectators, we re very happy that this is where we ll host our biggest event yet. Globen has a very central location it doesn t take more than 11 minutes to get there by metro from Stockholm Central. Address Globen is located in Globe City, Johanneshov district, Stockholm Below is the entrance where registration will take place. It s also where coffee and fika will be served between sessions. You can also get an ice cream from the ice cream machine. 3

4 Below is the main hall where our keynote talks will be held, although the room will be arranged differently during the event. The room below is where the sessions for Track 2 will be held. 4

Below are the payment options: 1. Payment at the counter a. They can accept payment by credit / debit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Diners accepted) or cash. 2. Prepayment by credit card a. If the municipality / association / company has a debit card with which guests can pay for their rooms, you need to fill in a document and attach a copy of the pay front of the card and copy of the card owner's ID papers. This gives them permission to debit the card. 3. Advance Invoice / Pro Forma Invoice a. They can send an advance invoice, a so-called pro-forma invoice to the municipality / association / company. This bill needs to be paid before the you check in. If the invoice is not paid upon check in, they need to take payment in place of you (see when the above option "payment at the counter. 10 DIRECTIONS Arlanda Airport Stockholm Central Station BUS Flygbussarna Price: 99 SEK one way Time: minutes. Get of at City Terminalen. You can buy tickets at Arlanda, but you can also buy tickets in advance on their website here. Remember to have a credit card available! Cash is rarely used in Sweden. TRAIN Arlanda Airport Express Youth (18-25): 150 SEK one-way, 300 SEK two-way. Adult (26+): 280 SEK one-way, 540 SEK two-way. Time: 20 minutes You can buy tickets in advance via their website here. You cannot pay in cash! TAXI If you travel with Taxi 08 it only costs 390 SEK to get to Stockholm City, which is the cheapest taxi, though no taxi driver should charge you more than 500 SEK. Going directly to Globen should cost about 650 SEK. At this website you ll find phone numbers to several taxi companies in Stockholm. You can of course always just walk outside and grab the first of the following taxis you see: - Taxi 020 (website) - Taxi Stockholm (website) - Taxi Kurir (website) WARNING: Ask for a fixed price up front to avoid fraud. To be sure you should stick to the Taxis listed above. Stockholm Central Station Globen Go down to the metro (marked with a T for the Swedish equivalent to metro: Tunnelbana) and take the Green line towards Hagsätra or Högdalen. Get off at the stop called Globen. The trip should take about 11 minutes. METRO You can buy a metro card in any metro station, and we recommend that you get a travelcard for a period instead of filling it with single trips. 11 You can also download the SL app. If you register your card you can buy tickets via that app, and show the ticket to the buss driver, or scan it right by the latches down in the metro. However, it s easier to just use a metro card. Visit their website here. TIP To easily get around in Stockholm we strongly recommend that you download the free app Res i Sthlm (Travel in Stockholm). The app is in Swedish but it s easily navigable and will show you exactly how you should travel to reach your destination in the fastest possible way. Just type in where you want to travel from (Från) and where you d like to go (Till). Then you press Sök (Search) and the app will show you how you should travel and different departure times. You can also choose which time you d like to go (När), either by the earliest time you d like to leave (Tidigast åka) or when you want to arrive at the latest (Senast framme). MAP 11
