Students from the United States and many countries come together to develop the confidence and skills required for academic, intellectual, athletic, and artistic success. Marianapolis Preparatory School, an independent, Catholic day and boarding school for grades 9-12, offers a wide range of honors and advanced placement courses for students of all faiths. Its 410 students hail from over 35 area towns and 20 countries. Students are exposed to a plethora of opportunities, including extracurricular activities, cultural trips abroad, the chance to hold leadership positions and L.E.A.P. Week. Marianapolis is at the forefront of technology in and outside of the classroom, with its 1:1 ipad program and its Summer Session Online, where students can take classes from the comfort of their own home anywhere in the world. Marianapolis students compete on champion athletic teams; develop fine and performing art talents, and serve the local community, all while preparing to attend the best colleges and universities. Academic and Sport Facilities Science labs were renovated in The Raenato and Anneke Patria Dance Studio opened in A Student Lounge and School Store opened in new classrooms were built in 2012, including 2 new art studios with a darkroom. A new baseball diamond and additional practice fields were completed in A Dining Room expansion was completed in Dormitories and School Residences 2 Boys Dorms - St. John's Hall, White House. 4 Girls Dorms - Bayer House, Villa Maria, St. Albert's, Villa St. Joseph. St. Johns Hall is the boy s residence. Here you find two large recreational rooms with large screen TV, video games, computers, and pool tables/ping pong tables. Each dorm room, larger than many college dorm rooms, has two students. St. Alberts and Bayer House, which are converted historic mansions, are the girl s dormitories. They each have a common room with games, TV/DVD, and computers. The girls typically share a room with one roommate. Each dorm has wireless access for any student needing it.
