2 German University Association for Advanced Graduate Training Aim is the promotion of science, research and education in the context of advancing young researchers at German universities. UniWiND/GUAT is a network of universities which have central institutions for the qualification of young researchers. It represents the member universities and acts on behalf of these institutions for the qualification of young researchers. 2 (1) Statute of UniWiND/GUAT Only national organization in Germany that is dedicated solely to the advancement of (post)doctoral education
3 Aims Promoting cooperation between members Forum for the dialogue on current discussions and developments in promoting young researchers Representing the interests of member universities towards politics and public, in accordance with the German Rectors Conference (HRK) and in cooperation with other scientific and research organizations Contributing to the international exchange on development and design of the PhD and early postdoctoral training phase as well as the layout of academic careers
