2 The EVOnet Vandal Dome (VD) range of cameras are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. They come in a vandalproof housing with day / night functionality to provide superior image quality. Equipped with an advanced H.64 hardware codec, the EVOnet VD range provides unparalleled image quality at significantly lower bit rates. By using the included video management platform SiRiS Lite, the user can easily view and record video images from up to 4 cameras simultaneously. Alternatively they can be used with the Pacom Network Video Recorders (PNVR16/3-RMT). The EVOnet VD range offers recording resolutions of D1, 1MP and MP (refer to specification table) Discreet Video Surveillance and Recording CCTV cameras installed in public areas can be exposed to acts of vandalism. The EVOnet VD range offers outstanding protection against such threats due to its vandal-proof aluminium casing. It also detects tampering attempts such as Video Blind (i.e. covering the camera) and provides alerts for the user to take immediate action. Better Coverage HD cameras provide up to 5 times higher resolution compared to standard resolution cameras. Therefore, one HD camera can replace 3 ~ 4 standard cameras which can significantly reduce the total installation cost. The EVOnet VD range protects the video data by providing multiple security policies like SSL, HTTPS and IP filtering. Triple Power Support The EVOnet VD range supports 3 types of power inputs (PoE, AC 4V, DC 1V) enabling flexible installation. Power over Ethernet (IEEE80.3af) supplies power to the camera via the network, eliminating the need for power cables and thus reducing installation costs.

3 Superior H.64 Recording Performance Using advanced H.64 technology, the EVOnet VD range provides a vast saving in terms of bandwidth and storage requirements (80% against M-JPEG, 30-50% against MPEG-4) without compromising image quality and recording performance. Progressive Scan Progressive Scan is a technique that captures, transmits and displays all lines in the image in a single frame. This makes the images of fast moving objects much clearer than those of conventional cameras using the interlaced scanning method. Real-time Recording at Every Resolution The EVOnet VD range record 30 frames per second regardless of the resolution. This makes the EVOnet VD range especially useful for missioncritical applications like airports or casinos when most other Megapixel cameras offer lower frame rates at higher resolutions. 4 Superior Image Quality When using HD cameras, the enhanced quality in detail and resolution provides many advantages when used for face recognition, license plate recognition, fraud detection etc. Two-way Audio The EVOnet VD range provides audio ports for external speaker and microphone, enabling optimal two-way voice communication. This further increases the surveillance opportunities of the camera allowing you to not only hear what s going on around the camera but also issue instructions or warnings to people close-by. FTP Upload The EVOnet VD range can be configured to upload live images to a designated FTP server to make the images available for public viewing. The uploading interval and the quality of images can be easily configured. On-Camera Recording The EVOnet VD range offers in-camera motion detection, which significantly reduces the CPU workload of the remote PC. In addition, motion / alarm events can be recorded on the SDHC card which means that EVOnet - VP range can process and record video images in the event of network failures. Dual Streaming The EVOnet VD range delivers simultaneous H.64 and M-JPEG video streams allowing for optimization in image quality and bandwidth. The H.64 compression mode is ideal for applications where available bandwidth is restricted and higher frame rates are required. Event Triggered Audible Alert The EVOnet VD range can be configured to send pre-defined audible messages through the speaker when triggered by an alarm or motion event. This feature can be used to provide audible warnings or information to people near the camera when required.
