Day 7 Arrowtown Lake Wanak Fox Glazier Enjoy a visit to Arrowtown, a colourful township steeped in local history. Then it s a trio of lakes Lake Dunstan, Lake Hawea & Lake Wanaka. Travel through Haast Pass which winds its way through Mount Aspiring National Park and dramatic mountain and forest scenery. Continue north along the coastal road to Fox Glacier a rare, still advancing glacier. Fox Glacier is the longest of the awe inspiring New Zealand West Coast glaciers. At its head, soaring peaks of over 3,000m (10,000ft) dominate the vista. These include Aoraki (Mt Cook) and Mt Tasman. Drive beside the Waimakariri River and across the Canterbury Plains to reach the Garden City of Christchurch. Check in at your Hotel and relax for the rest of the evening.
