1 Job escription Position etails Faculty/Professional Support Service School/epartment ivision/section/unit Job Title Vacancy No Faculty of Business and Law Business School entre for nterprise Video Production Assistant Recruitment Team Grade 4 Hours of Work ontract uration Reports To Responsible For 35 hours per week Fixed Term Video Production Manager, entre for nterprise N/A Principal Accountabilities To support the Video Production Manager with day-to-day activities to provide cost effective, professional video and audio production services in support of a range of entre for nterprise and wider Faculty objectives including business engagement, learning and teaching, research, marketing and publicity. Key Tasks Support in providing a cost effective, high performance, professional video production service which meets the current needs of the entre for nterprise and wider faculty. To plan and prioritise workload with the Video Production Manager, in order to make the most effective contribution to the department's service and project provision. Assist with the filming and production of entre or faculty events, in particular: Storyboarding before just going out to shoot, helping plan the overall video (shots, transitions, narrative, VO, text Staging

2 Web asting Technical Support Production and generating publicity materials Production of the online podcasts, webinars and publicity material Take footage and to provide an editing and post production service diting of footage using Apple Mac and Final ut Pro X software reating graphics and motion graphics using Motion 5 or After ffects software. Arrange the transfer of work to the appropriate media and associated design services Organising meetings and interviews Answering simple queries Preparing briefing documents and scripts To disseminate, gather and share information in order to further own knowledge and that of colleagues and customers To understand customer requirements and to develop relationships and contacts To assist with the management of the f youtube account and other sites - uploading and maintaining a constant stream of content Utilising social media optimisation to ensure that all videos are exploited to their full potential raising the visibility of the entre and monitoring/ tracking the impact of videos on analytics To contribute to the development of methods of working, and to follow such methods and in particular to produce and maintain documentation in order to support the long term delivery of projects and services To drive the creation of instructional and training podcasts for both staff and for students, liaising with colleagues and other key staff as required Act as an occasional photographer in emergencies. Special Features Many programmes within the entre for nterprise are part-funded by the U, such as uropean Regional evelopment Fund, and as such you may be required to comply with strict funding regulations and complete timesheets to demonstrate activity on these projects to enable the funding to be released.

3 Willingness to work in the evenings on a regular basis and on occasional weekends to deliver programmes scheduled at these times and to meet clients travelling long distances. Willingness to travel occasionally sometimes overnight and to work across campuses. Willingness to travel overseas. This could include acting as a S Assessor, First Aider, Fire Marshall or epartmental Safety o-ordinator. The allocation of such roles will be subject to the provision of appropriate training and assessment of competence.
