Held from September at Guangzhou s China Import and Export Fair Complex, the fair once again demonstrated its significance within the mould and additive manufacturing sector. The show continues to serve as an important sourcing platform for mould, die and additive manufacturing in China. The fair attracted 320 exhibitors from Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and the US. The event also welcomed 21,776 professional buyers, a 14.5% increase from the previous edition, from 48 countries and regions. Contributing to the impressive visitor figures this year were 65 buyer delegations from companies such as Colgate, EPSON, FAW-Volkswagen, OSRAM, Emerson, Foxconn, Honda, BYD, Gree Electic, Unipres, Midea, Esquel and others. The increasing number of visitors affirms the importance of to the manufacturing industry, its growth and promising future developments. Commenting on the success of 2015 edition, Mr Louis Leung, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, stated: I am thrilled to have encountered many satisfied show participants during the three-day fair and am very pleased with both exhibitor and visitor figures. Given the manufacturing industry is constantly evolving, I am confident that will continue to serve as a great tool that helps participants reach key contacts and grow their businesses. For loyal plastic injection mould making supplier EMP Technologies Inc, the fair provided a fantastic opportunity to capitalise on the growing global manufacturing market. 3 Page 3 Exhibitors and visitors satisfied with the wealth of business opportunities at 3D Printing Asia Zone Another successful show highlight was the 3D Printing Asia Zone. Due to growing demand for higher precision technologies coupled with tighter research and development budgets and times, the value of 3D printing technologies have never been greater. 3D Systems Inc, a first-time exhibitor, attended the fair to expand its business and promote a range of innovative products. Mr Rex Zhu, Professional and Production Printer (Marketing Manager) of the company, commented: not only focuses on moulding technology but it is also very strong in 3D printing technologies. This benefits our company because moulding and 3D printing technologies complement each other. This year, the quality of buyers was high and they were knowledgeable of the technologies and products on display. One of the biggest benefits of attending the show for us was that we were able to meet mould makers who were interested in incorporating our technologies into their precision manufacturing. All in all we are satisfied with the exhibition and look forward to the upcoming editions. Returning Belgian exhibitor, Materialise China (Shanghai), also praised the 3D Printing Asia Zone. Ms Kim Francois, Managing Director of the company, stated: The show is great for effectively promoting 3D printing technologies. This is evident from the increasing number of 3D printing companies joining the show. The fair also has one of the best conference platforms that not only helps build company brands but also provides professional buyers the most updated industry trends within the region. Concurrent events well attended by industry peers Apart from being one of the industry s most reputable sourcing platforms, is also an invaluable tool for acquiring the latest information on market trends through a series of concurrent events. The 2015 edition featured over 30 high-level seminars addressing a variety of hot-button issues affecting the mould making, 3D printing, die casting and metalworking industries. The events achieved positive responses from both supporting firms and attendees. Mr Allen Zhang, Sales Manager from Stratasys Shanghai Ltd, provided an engaging presentation on the developing trends of 3D printing technologies. He shared: This was my first time attending as a speaker and I was impressed by the attentiveness of the large attending crowd. The audience actively asked questions, reaffirming their professionalism and interest in 3D printing. As such, I will not hesitate to come back again next year. Another speaker, Mr Yuri Chen, Technical Expert from Somos, shared equal satisfaction regarding the chance to present on 3D

Platforms like this help promote related technologies and allow attendees to discover the latest market trends. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the conference and the 3D Printing Asia Zone.
