1 Prayers to Mary KDCCW 2011 Convention Prayer To Mary Our Loving Mother, we pray to you for your patience, Your trust in God s will, your unconditional love. Grant us these gifts in the name of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ Mary Mary, Help me in my self doubt because your Son gave everything to me and for me. I want to worship your Son fully and completely, but often I have a hard time doing so. You are my ideal, and you are the ideal person to help me at all times and in everything. Blessed Mother Mary Blessed Mother Mary, Mother of all, You have been there for us always. Thank you for guiding us on life s journey. You have been our guide and taught us to trust. Keep us in your loving care. Help us to know your Son Jesus better, and walk in His way. By: Five Rivers Deanery

2 Blessed Mother: I ask you to intercede on my behalf; Help me to live in the moment. Blessed Mother Please give me tranquility; Give me peace, give me comfort in my need. Help me to know that you are with me always, as I am a child of God. Mary, Mother of Mothers Mary, Mother of Mothers, we honor you on your special day. Help us to be servants as you were, and carry the life of Jesus within us always. Help us to model our lives after yours; To become loving To love the unlovable To be closer to you To have greater trust To love our wayward families To become caring and serving to all those we affect in our daily lives. Our Most Blessed and Beautiful Mother Our Most Blessed and Beautiful Mother, Help us to grow in love and virtue; That we may know your grace in our lives; That we may be understanding, kind and compassionate. Be with us through our trials, we beseech you, Queen of Heaven.

3 Dearest Mother Mary Dearest Mother Mary, help me to be more like you, the handmaid of the Lord; to have a servant s heart, to lead others to your Son, Jesus, by my words and actions. Help me to be receptive; and open vessel to the Holy Spirit in my daily life. Help me to improve my relationship with you, my Mother, and my relationships with others. Help me to follow your example of what it means to live a grace-filled life. In the name of Jesus, your Son, I pray. Prayer to Our Blessed Mother Mary, Mother of God, thank you for being the Mother of our Church; for being the inspiration for those of us who are mothers. Like you, we want to serve, counsel and care for others, not just our own children, but those that your Son reveals to us in His words, this is your son. Continue to pray for us and inspire us dear Blessed Mother. Amen Mother Mary Mother Mary, My image of you as my loving Mother leads me to say: please embrace my dearest loved ones (can name those for whom you offer this prayer here) with your tender embrace. Please ask Jesus, your Son, to always watch over them, and to help them thirst for knowledge of Him and His Father. Ask the Holy Spirit to inspire them to develop loving relationships with their family members. Thank you, Mother Mary, for listening to my pleas. Our Lady of Grace Dear Mary, Mother of our Lord, your faith in God and complete trust in His divine goodness continues to inspire us to greater heights of faith and hope. Wrap, we pray, dear Mother, your mantle of love around us, and around all those we love. Encompass us in your compassionate heart, and teach us to say yes to God in all ways. May loving you, Blessed Mother, cause us ever to lift our gaze with yours to your Son upon His cross, and upon His eternal throne.

4 Mary, Our Mother Mary, our Mother, Thank you for modeling for us the gifts we need for now and in eternity with your Son; Patience Pure Heart Perfect Mother and Servant Empathy Compassion Strength and Fortitude Fidelity Witness Discipleship and Apostolic Leadership Obedience Love Help us to strive to imitate these qualities in our daily lives and struggles as companions with you on our journey to eternal life. Oh, Dearest Mother Mary Oh, Dearest Mother Mary, you are our source of inspiration and guidance. You are our nurturing and caring Mother who loves us unconditionally and intercedes for us at the feet of you Son, Jesus. You are our role model as mothers, and our companion and confidant woman to woman. Pray for us now and always as we strive to attain heaven. O Good and Gentle Mother O good and gentle Mother, wrap us in your mantle of love. Protect us this day from all that would separate us from you and your precious Son. Teach us to love as you do, to forgive as Jesus does, and to reach out to others in need, reflecting the image of our Divine Creator. Keep us ever faithful and true as we seek to enhance the reign of God on earth. Thank you for loving us, dearest Mother.

5 Dearest Mother of Our Lord Dearest Mother of Our Lord and our Mother too. We come to you as children needing your protection and guidance. We look to you as the perfect model of motherhood in our own need to be mothered; and, as the perfect example of the mothers we strive to be. As you loved your Son, help us to have tenderness in our hearts to love those around us. We thank you for your faithfulness in leading us to your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Mary, Mother of God, Mother of All Thank you for being a perfect model: a woman a wife a mother Let us feel your grace daily, and say yes as you did, and to bear the injustices that come our way. We praise you with grateful hearts for the many times you intercede for us to your Son, Jesus Christ. Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Dearest Mother Mary, our most intimate connection with you seems to come through the deaths of our children; of your Son and our beloved daughters and sons. No matter how old our children are, their loss is hurtful to us. Our losses are different from yours because your Son died so needlessly and horribly at the hands of others. However, we know that you understand our individual loss, and the losses of all others whose children have died too soon. Please intercede to your Son for all of us in sorrow. Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus, pray for us.

6 Loving Mother of the Church Mary, loving Mother of the Church, nurture and sustain us as we strive to imitate your perfect example. You understand a mother s fears. Give us strength to have a more perfect trust. You understand how the busyness of living can consume a mother s day. Give us the patience we need to remain loving. May we always answer yes to your Son with willing and open hearts as we respond to the needs of all your children. Mary s Loving Presence We pray that all women feel Mary s loving presence as a Mother of yesterday, today and tomorrow for all eternity. We pray that mothers seek her guidance, follow her example and feel her support. We ask for Mary to care for all mothers living and deceased. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Mary, Mother of God Mary, Mother of God, our help, our intercessor, who is closer to God, our pacifier in turmoil, our restraint, our resource, rosary ever near, our gift in the Catholic Church, our discipline, gentle woman. Blessed Mother, Mary Immaculate Dear Blessed Mother, Mary Immaculate, Mother of God, and Mother of the Miraculous Medal, you are Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Thank you for being there for us in our needs. Thank you for listening to our prayers. Thank you for being always ready to hear our petitions for our neighbors, friends and relatives.
