These properties ensure precise feature control, very good mechanical properties and simple surface reprocessing of 3D printed parts, in particular for complex shapes or structures. BASF PA6 Powder can fulfill the requirements of functional applications regarding high accuracy and mechanical strength as well as a high heat distortion temperature properties, where existing 3D printing materials often show limitations. 3. Shelf Life and Storage BASF PA6 Powder should be stored at C in its originally sealed package in a clean and dry environment. If the recommended storage conditions are observed the products will have a minimum shelf life of 12 months. 10. Miscellaneous BASF Polyamide 6 Powder for Laser Sintering is currently available in white or black. Electrical properties (e.g. volume resistivity, surface resistivity), chemical properties (e.g. resistance against particular substances) and tolerance for solvents can be made available if these factors are a relevant property for an application. Generally these properties correspond to publicly available data on polyamides. Material is not FDA conform. 11. Occupational Safety Mandatory, recommended industrial hygiene procedures and the relevant industrial safety precautions for the handling of polymer powder must be followed whenever these products are being handled and processed.
