2 And my ultimate Pursuit, therefore, must be Jesus Luke :53 He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. Proverbs 3:, 8 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, 4 for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold 8 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed. Proverbs :4 The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death. Matthew 7:-4 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 4 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Proverbs :2 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Genesis 2:9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Revelation 22:9 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. We had something of infinite beauty and preciousness and we lost it; we spend our lives searching for what we have lost; and one day, perhaps, we will suddenly find it, and this will be the miracle, the millennium. -Neurologist Oliver Sacks Awakenings John 4:0 Jesus answered her, If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. John 7: On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. Revelation 2:6 He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 6 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month Revelation 22:-3 And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. Hebrews :6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Psalm 56:2-2 I am under vows to you, O God; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. John 20:3 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. 7 8 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 9 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect Peter 3:7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. 2 Peter :3-4 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter :3-4 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. Jeremiah 7:7-8 7 But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
