1 Earth Home School of Feng Shui and Intuitive Arts Feng Shui Practitioner Certification Course All classes are led by Feng Shui master and author Tisha Morris. Levels 1 and 2 may be taken individually, although completion of Levels 1, 2 and 3 are necessary to receive Certification. Upon completion of Level 1, participants will have an overall understanding of feng shui and be ready to start a feng shui practice. Levels 2 and 3 are encouraged in order to deepen one s feng shui practice and also necessary to become a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner. Level 1: Feng Shui Fundamentals In Level 1 students will go in-depth to learn the basic principles of feng shui, including its origins, different schools, and modern applications. Students will learn how chi flows through spaces, arrangement of furniture, how to apply the Bagua Map and use the Five Elements to balance and harmonize spaces. By the conclusion of Level 1, students will understand the components of a feng shui consultation and equipped to start their own feng shui practice. History of Feng Shui Students will be introduced to the rich history and origins of feng shui, including the different schools of feng shui, the iching, the Lo Shu, and Cosmic Trinity. Students will see how these practices are still alive and used today. Schools of Feng Shui The iching Lo Shu and Trigrams Cosmic Trinity Modern Practices of Feng Shui We will explore how feng shui has evolved and its common applications in modern times, including clutter clearing, multi-residential spaces, suburban zones, businesses, and BTB feng shui methods.

2 What is Chi Students will be introduced to the unseen world of energy, or chi, the permeating force of all things. Chi will be explored with regards to the electromagnetic chi emitted from the Earth, as well as chi from humans, animals, and even inanimate objects. We will break chi down into its two components yin and yang and discuss the various ways these two energies are expressed on our planet, in the body, and, of course, in our spaces. Yin Energy Yang Energy Exterior Analysis (Form School) The first step in feng shui starts with the exterior of a space. We will explore the topography of the land from the perspective of the Form School, the landscape, poison arrows, the shape of the building, adjoining roads and buildings, and overall location. The energy around the entrance or front door of the home will also be considered as the primary mouth of chi coming into the space. Topography Poison Arrows Landscaping Building Shapes Front Door Floor Plan Analysis As we make our way into the home, students will look at a variety of floor plan layouts. We will see how energy moves through spaces and explore auspicious vs. inauspicious layouts. Considerations of locations for hallways, stairways, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and other rooms will be discussed. The Art of Furniture Placement Furniture further divides up spaces and directs the chi flow. We will look at the art (and science) of arranging furniture, as well as how to incorporate this into a consultation. The Bagua Map The Bagua Map is the quintessential tool used in feng shui. We will look at every gua - its meaning and application. You will learn how to apply the Bagua Map to any space and use it effectively with clients. We will consider a variety of different floor plans and shapes in applying the Bagua Map appropriately, as well as how to boost the energies in each gua and apply remedies effectively. 2

3 The Five Elements Students will become versed in the Five Element Theory and how to use it to help clients bring their spaces into balance. We will look at how to determine your personal element and how to balance spaces accordingly. You will learn the constructive and destructive cycles and the effect the elements can have on a space, energetically and aesthetically. Remedies One of the best things about feng shui is that there is a remedy for just about anything! You will learn how to turn a challenging space into a supportive environment using remedies. We will explore traditional feng shui remedies from wind chimes to crystals as well as transcendental remedies that combine our energetic intentions to transform a space. Students will also learn time-honored BTB feng shui traditions, rituals, and blessings. Elemental Remedies Transcendental Remedies Rituals and Blessings Field Trip: On-site Consultation To integrate all the principles learned thus far, we will visit a home for an on-site consultation. Location T.B.A. Business of Feng Shui We will discuss the Do s and Don t s of being a feng shui practitioner. Students will also learn the basics of setting up your feng shui business. We will discuss everything from payment to marketing to individual niches within feng shui. Standard Ethics Professionalism Starting Your Business Step-by-Step Consultation We will combine everything you have learned and put it together in a step-by-step consultation format. You will have an understanding of the entire process from attracting clients, what to do at the consultation, and beyond. By the end, you will be ready to start your own feng shui practice. (After completion of Level 1, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Feng Shui Fundamentals 27 hours. For those seeking Certification, two Home Consultation projects will be assigned after Level 1, in addition to completing Levels 2and 3.) 3

4 Level 2: The Soul of a Home Deepen your feng shui practice by going deeper into the unseen world of energy that permeates every layer of a space from the furniture to the empty spaces to the previous owners and current occupants. Learn how to detect different qualities of energy, how to read a space, and tap into the soul of a home. Students will learn how to detect underground earth energies and how to space clear negative or stagnant energies in spaces. Meditation and mindfulness techniques will be used throughout to take students deeper into themselves and their practice. (Level 2 is open to any students that have completed Level 1 or to anyone with previous feng shui training. Certification will only be awarded to students that have completed Level 1, 2 and 3 of this Program.) Feeling Into Energy We will turn the invisible world of energy into a tangible space that you can feel and tap into. You will learn how to work with energy in your hands in order to deepen your feng shui practice. For example, you will go from intellectually understanding poison arrows to actually feeling them. Energy Fields and Chakras The body is a microcosm of the energy within a space. We will use the human body s aura field and chakras as a template to understand the energy of a home. You will learn about the chakras in the body, feel them, and understand how this translates into the home. In doing so, we will explore ways to use the home to heal the body. Tapping Into Intuition Feng Shui is part art, part science, and a lot of intuition. You will learn different ways to tap into your intuition to start trusting it. Your intuition will become your best ally during your feng shui consultations. Dowsing Rods, Pendulums, Other Divination Methods We will explore a variety of methods used to read spaces and assist our intuition, including dowsing rods, pendulums, and other methods. EMFs Students will learn about potentially harmful electromagnetic frequencies that may be negatively affecting spaces. 4

5 Space Clearing Techniques All of the techniques learned in Level 2 will be combined to show students how to effectively space clear. A variety of techniques will be explored from hands-on space clearing to using bells, sage, and other methods. Students will learn a 4-step approach and be ready to space clear the most challenging of spaces at the conclusion. Field Trip: On-Site Space Clearing We will visit a space and do an on-site space clearing. All students will be actively involved in clearing the space for a hands-on experience. Location T.B.A. Numerology of a Space and Other Energetic Considerations Before the occupants of a space ever step foot inside, a home has its own distinct personality. In fact, from the time the architect draws up the blueprint and the ground is broken, the soul of the home is first conceived. Students will learn how to tap into the energy of a home prior to ever visiting the home. Previous traumas and land clearing will be explored that may be negatively affecting the current owners and beyond the realms of traditional feng shui methods already discussed. (For students seeking Certification, a Space Clearing project will be assigned, in addition to completing Levels 1and 3.) Level 3: Immersion Into Feng Shui Practices Level 3 is for students who have completed Levels 1 and 2 and seeking Certification as a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner. Level 3 is virtual learning with no in-person classes. Level 3 is comprised of three 2-hour group telephonic sessions and one 1-hour individual session. Level 3 is intended to take your feng shui practice to the next level, build confidence in your practice, and address any challenges that may have come up for you. Group Call 1: Q&A About Home and Space Clearing Assignments In the first group call, students will discuss their experience with the home consultation and space clearing assignments. I will answer any questions that came up for you as a result of the assignments. You will also have the opportunity to learn from others experiences and clarify any material from Levels 1 and 2. Students will be assigned their final project of another home or business. Group Call 2: Feng Shui for Workspaces and Businesses 5

6 As businesses in the U.S. are using feng shui more and more, we will focus on how to use feng shui in the workplace. I will discuss how to use feng shui for sole proprietors and businesses. This information will also be helpful to incorporate into your own business. Group Call 3: Advanced Business Practices for Feng Shui Practitioners For our last session, we will go more in depth into setting up your feng shui practice. I will answer any questions, stumbling blocks, or challenges that may have arisen, along with how to help you further grow your business. One-on-One Mentoring Session A one-on-one call will be arranged with each student to address any challenges you may be having with your practice or even your personal space. We can use this time in any way you would like in order help you start or grow your practice.
