Long pants: Our long pants policy is designed to allow families limited choice beyond that provided by our two primary uniform vendors. Please follow the guidelines below when purchasing pants that retain a tailored/traditional uniform look. Pants may have a flat front or pleated front, cotton or blend twill only. Corduroy or denim is not acceptable. Spandex and lycra are not acceptable. Pants must have a finished cuff or hem and may not have external pockets (no cargo pants). Pants must be traditionally-styled (no low rise, bell bottoms or skinny jean styling is permitted. Slightly flared legs are acceptable.) Traditionally styled pants do not include western-cut pants with riveted pockets. Navy pants must be dark blue. 2. Sweaters: Sweaters may be cardigan, pull-over, or sweater vest in style, in red or navy and must have the Hammond logo on them. They can be purchased from Lands End or K & M. Other sweaters are not permitted. An official Hammond shirt must be worn beneath the sweater. 3. Sweatshirts: Sweatshirts must be Hammond sweatshirts and may be worn with an official Hammond shirt beneath them. 4. Shirts: Shirts must be long enough to cover midriffs when sitting or standing. Shirts must be tucked in. 5. Belts: Belts are required for all pants that have belt loops. 6. Shoes: Every day shoes must be closed-toe, closed-heel and can be tennis shoes in good repair. No stilettos, spiked or wedged heels shoes are permitted. Flat/low heeled boots are acceptable. Boots must be below the knee. 7. Socks: Socks must be solid color white, navy, red, black, or brown. Socks can be short or knee socks. 8. Tights/Leggings: Tights/leggings are permitted as accessory attire with skirts or skorts. Tights/ leggings must be solid color white, black, navy, red, or brown. 9. Hats: Hats should never be worn inside buildings. 10. Facial Hair: Boys must be clean shaven. 11. Hair: Hair must be of a natural color and cut in a style that does not provide a distraction. 12. Tattoos: No visible tattoos allowed. Piercing: No visible piercing adornment allowed for girls other than ears. No visible piercing adornment allowed for boys.

Skirts/Skorts: Hammond plaid, solid navy or khaki (skirts from K & M or Land s End only). No cargo skirts/skorts allowed Dresses: Hammond plaid jumper (K & M only), solid navy or khaki jumpers. Land s End uniform mesh polo or ruffle bottom or ruffle dress. Shorts: Navy or khaki color in a cotton blend or 100% cotton (no cargo style).
