2 Temple of Heaven TOUR ITINERARY Day 1/2: Depart USA Today board your fl ight bound for China & enroute cross the International Dateline. During this Chamber of Commerce Event see highlights of China with many opportunities to buy the local handicrafts, learn about business development in China & enjoy delicious Chi- nese cuisine. Day 3: Beijing Welcome to Beijing, home of Summer Olympics! Beijing is a fascinating capital with a treasure of beautifully preserved ed palaces, tombs and relics. Today enjoy a visit to the Temple of Heaven where the emperors prayed for the good od harvest. Here you will see e hundreds of Chinese practicing their morning exercises. Later see Olympic Games sights and a picture opportunity of famous Olympics Bird s Nest & Water Bubbles buildings. Enjoy your a Chinese lunch and check in to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure. An optional Hutong tour where you travel by rickshaw through Beijing s ancient alleyways will be available. This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. Meals: (L,D) Day 5: Great Wall Today enjoy a full day visit to one of the greatest manmade wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China. You ll likely never forget your fi rst sight of the Great Wall: one of mankind s most remarkable feats, this impenetrable barrier stretches 4,000 miles. Visit the Sacred Way of the Ming Tomb where you will see the many ancient stone carved animals. Tonight enjoy a special Peking Duck Dinner. Day 6: Beijing - Hangzhou This morning transfer to the airport for your fl ight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet a local representative and transfer to Hangzhou, which is well-known for its beautiful natural scenery. It is also the capital city of Zhejiang Province, one of the most wealthy regions in China. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a West Lake Boat Cruise for some of the most beautiful scenery in China. Many ancient poets write their poems based on West Lake. After dinner, an optional traditional Foot Massage will be available. Later visit the Forbidden City, the inner sanctum where for centuries Chinese emperors ruled. After an included lunch, visit Tiananmen Square, the symbolic heart of China and gathering place for the masses. Dinner this evening will be at a local restaurant. Day 7: Hangzhou - Shanghai This morning visit the Economic Development Zone with a briefing on investment opportunity. Later visit Lingyin Temple, one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China and considered a leading center for research relative to Chinese Buddhist culture. Later visit the famous tea plantation of the Dragon Well tea which is only grown in the Hangzhou area.

3 Day 7: continued This afternoon transfer to Shanghai, the most cosmopolitan city in China. Upon arrival in Shanghai, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers. Day 8: Shanghai Today enjoy a Shanghai City Tour of this great city where East meets West. Shanghai is China s largest city with 14 million people, and is a paradise for adventure and excitement. Ride along the Bund, the riverside boulevard that is Shanghai s showpiece and view the 1930 s era high-rise architecture. Then visit the Garden of the Mandarin Yu & a Silk Weaving Workshop. This evening an Optional Acrobatic Show will be offered after dinner. Day 9: Shanghai Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Shanghai on your own or join an Optional Tour to the beautiful garden city of Suzhou. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner and share the China experience with your fellow members. Meals: (B,D) Day 10: Shanghai - Fly Home Enjoy the morning at leisure before you transfer to the airport and say Zai Jien (Goodbye) to China with many fond memories.
