2 The Program This five-day executive program will provide its participants with a first-hand view of business opportunities in the leading Latin-American country. Participants will receive a solid overview of the political, legal, social and business context in Brazil. All academic sessions will be led by faculty members from Insper Institute of Education and Research. The program combines in-depth lectures on Brazil-specific business topics taught by prominent experts, along with company visits and cultural events. His expertise includes General Business Management, Strategic Planning, Brand Management, Product Development, Marketing Communications, Advertising and Sales. André Antunes Soares de Camargo - Attorney-in-law and legal consultant in São Paulo specialized in corporate law, capital markets, contracts and corporate governance. Ph.D. in Corporate Law from the University of São Paulo.LL.M. in Corporate Law and Contracts from the University of California, Davis. Professor and associate dean of the LL.M. Programs of Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper). Law Professor of the Business School, Executive Programs, and MBA Programs of Insper. Lecturer at post-graduate courses in many private universities in Brazil. Guest professor of University of St. Gallen, Switzerland in corporate governance courses since Andrea Minardi - Associate Professor at Insper,director of the Brazilian Financial Society and fiscal board member at ANGRAD. She holds a Bachelor s Degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas SP. Andrea Minardi is the author of the book Teoria de Opções Aplicada a Projetos de Insvestimento (Option Theory applied to Capital Budgeting) and of many published articles. Her research areas are Corporate Finance, credit risk, real options and capital budgeting. Carolina da Costa - PhD in Learning & Cognition from Rutgers University, Master s Degree in Operations Management from EAESP-FGV/University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor s Degree in Public Administration from EAESP/FGV. Currently responsible for the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (DEA), she has been teaching Critical Thinking and Problem Solving for MBAs, Executive Education and Undergraduate programs. Letícia Costa - Letícia Costa is the Academic Dean of Graduate Programs at Insper where she has been teaching Strategy and Execution on executive programs. She holds a BsC in Industrial Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from Samuel Curtis Johnson School of Management form Cornell University. She was responsible for the Industrial and Operations Group in Latin America at Booz & Company and also served the firm s Board of Directors. She is a board member of Sadia, FAMA, a private equity fund, and Localiza.. While in consulting, Letícia has conducted assignments in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia, for sectors such as automotive, steel, mining, chemicals and petrochemicals, agribusiness, fast moving consumer goods, retail and others. Her assignments have covered a wide range of operational, strategic and organizational issues, in studies ranging from diagnostic to implementation. Luciana Yeung - Doctor in Economics from Escola de Economia de São Paulo da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EESP-FGV), was a Visiting Scholar at Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California Berkeley. Luciana is graduated in Economics from the University of São Paulo, Master in Applied Economics and in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is currently the 5

6 Associate Dean of the Undergraduate programs at Insper. She is a founding member of the ABDE Brazilian Law and Economics Association. She has several papers published on national and international journals, and chapters in books on Economic Analysis of Law. She participated in research groups that measured efficiency of the public sector (Judiciary and Legislative). She teaches and participates in seminars, courses and talks in several institutions such as Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, Universitat St. Gällen (Switzerland), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Universidade de São Paulo, Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and others. Luca Borroni-Biancastelli - Dean for Executive Education and Member of the Executive Committee of Insper Institute of Education and Research. Educated at Università Luigi Bocconi of Milan and Unicamp of Campinas,holds a PhD in Economics and in Economic Theories. Member of the Board of UNICON University Consortium for Executive Education, the global organization of Schools which offer Executive Education. Naércio Menezes - Ph.D. in Economics University College London IFB Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for Public Policies (CPP) - Insper Institute of Education and Research. Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo, Consultant of Fundação Itaú Social and regular writer for the Valor Econômico newspaper. Pablo Vidal Arean - MBA Cum Laude from Instituto de Empresa, Bachelor s Degree in Economy and Corporate Finance from Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Currently CMO of LG Electronics in Brasil, former European Marketing Director for LG Electronics, and previously marketing leader in companies such as P&G, Agbar Group and founder of Havana Marketing Consultants. Priscila Borin de Oliveira Claro - PhD in Business Administration from Universidade Federal de Lavras with emphasis on Sustainable Development Management. Master s Degree from Wageningen University in Environmental and Social Management. She has worked as a researcher at Agriculture Economics Institute in Haia (Netherland) and Agribusiness Inteligence Center (University of Sao Paulo, from 2005 to 2007). She is currently a part time professor and researcher at Insper with emphasis in Strategy and Sustainability. Rodrigo Amantea de Andrade Pinto - Executive Education Open Enrollment Programs Director at Insper, holding a Master s degree on Business Administration from EAESP-FGV, with emphasis on Marketing Strategies, Rodrigo develops research in branding, product management and consumer behavior.
