The description of the equipment is contained in this Notice of Sale. If you are interested in bidding, the Bid Form must be returned to the City of Largo by the date indicated. All offers must be submitted to the City of Largo, Office of Management and Budget, 201 Highland Avenue, Largo, Florida no later than: 2:00 p.m., local time November 15, 2012 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in bids received. Bids must be returned on the form(s) provided, in a sealed envelope. Non conformance with these instructions is grounds for rejection of bid. Late bids will be rejected. If you have any technical questions or would like to inspect the equipment, please contact Brian Smith at ext. 6811, on October 30 & October 31 between the hours of 9:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m. This will be the only time for questions regarding the equipment or inspection of equipment. TERMS OF SALE Sale is on an "as-is" basis. No warranty is expressed, implied or is being extended by the City of Largo to prospective buyers. All sales are final. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City reserves the right to award item by item or in the aggregate. The City assumes no responsibility for items after purchase or liability associated with the use or sale of equipment after purchase. PAYMENT Successful bidder(s) must make payment to the City of Largo in cash, money order or certified check no later than November 26, Government entities may issue a purchase order for items being purchased. Payment to be made prior to taking possession of equipment. REMOVAL OF EQUIPMENT Any costs associated with the removal of this equipment from the City of Largo premises is to be borne by the successful bidder(s). Equipment must be removed within ten working days after notice of award is received.
