2 Characteristics Features of Unsaturated Polyester Material (SMC) Power Distribution Box The Power distribution box made from unsaturated polyester compound material which manufactured by our company, is widely suitable for outdoor power distribution box, compensative box and power station terminal box. It is one preferred substituting products of stainless steel box. This enclosure is applied new type compound material through high temperature press moulding. Unsaturated polyester is one kind composite material basically made from unsaturated polyester resin. This material shares features of non-dissolve & non-melting as three-dimensional reticulation structure, it becomes high-powered engineering material after functional stuffing and special fibrous reinforcement process. The power distribution box made of this fiber glass reinforced Sheet Moulding Compound(SMC) material shares functions of light specific gravity, corrosion-resistant, anti-aging, good sealing features, creepage protection, anti-theft, safety and good appearance as well as full weather protection function, it can meet all kind demands of atrocious environments and locations for outdoor engineering projects. It overcomes disadvantages of limitation from steel material like easy rusting, short service life as well as low features of heat insulation and heat preservation. The Power Distribution Box made of SMC has following superiority features: High Insulating Capability It is one outstanding insulating material, has very high class for surface resistance, volume resistance and puncturing voltage, at same time it can keep good electric resistance feature under high frequency, not effected by electro-magnetic and not reflecting electro-magnetic wave. Chemical Corrosion Resistance It has good corrosion resistant feature, can resist corrosion of acid, alkali and salt with relative density, is also has good resistant capability for many kind oil, organic solvent, seawater. High anti-aging Capability This material has good anti-aging capability. In order to increase such feature, we also add one layer of protective paint on surface with UV resistant. 3 This material can keep well physical mechanism features within very widely temperature scope(-50 ~+160 ). Excellent Fire-resistant Feature It is one kind of fire-resistant material, would not burned even with fire. Poor Heat-conducting Feature It is one kind of heat-resistant material, can reduce affection of inside temperature from outside variation of ambient temperature. Light Weight & Good Obdurability Specific gravity between with , it has very high tensile strength, bending strength and impacting toughness, its ratio strength (value of material strength divided with density) can compare with high alloy steel. High Performance-price Ratio With continuous rising of price for steel, SMC distribution box performance-price ratio is getting more obviously. Well Sealing Feature, Rain Resistant and Anti Insects Reasonable Structure with rubber sealing ring, it would ensure non-entrance of rain, all exhausting holes installed with stainless steel gauze net. Congealing Dew Resistant & Low-temperature Resistant If provided with Congealing dew temperature controller and heater, it would ensure one suitable environment for components inside for some special critical ambient temperature. Summary HYDB Low voltage Distribution board for pole / pad mounted transformer station is a kind of LV complete-set switch equipment of urban / rural power distribution system, it s widely applied to AC 50/60Hz, rated voltage of 380/415V distribution system for conversion distribution, control, measuring, protection of transformer in power, The connection scheme of its technical standard, technical criterion, measuring unit is in accordance with instructions manual to energy measurement panel development and installation, and to select measurement license, production license, enter-into-grid license safe series quality product for development. The moulded case circuit breaker as the main component according to capacity of different transformer which be putted into one SMC fiber glass box. The box has nice appearance, the configuration reasonable and reliable. Also the product has high breaking capacity, good dynamic-thermal stability, flexible electrical scheme, new design structure, high protection class etc. This product accord with standard of IEC60439 &GB/T7251 Low-voltage Switchgear Apparatus and Control Apparatus. 2. Structure feature 2.1 The enclosure of product made of high quality SMC (Sheet Moulding Compounds) fiber glass, which has perfect performance: antisepsis capability, absolute sealed waterproof, reliable insulation, anti-tampering, safe protection of lead-seal and lock, life-span of more than 30 years,(indoor life-span will be more than 60 years)and resistance to impulse(impulse the each weakness of the shell with 1Nm for three times, no damage will appear.) 2.2. There are some small holes at top of inner box, prevent to dew occurred in case of being moisture There is one lighting lamp and one socket in side of inner box There is some energy meters for measuring The main MCCB used to protect transformer and the other small MCCB used to branch circuit The protection class is IP54 (Some special requirement should be negotiated with the manufacturer).
