1 2014 Ventura County Track and Field Championships Friday May 2 nd, 2014 Entries Entries are due on Sunday April 27 th, at 4:00PM, through the EPI Sports website. A maximum of 3 athletes per school per event will be allowed using the current printed standard as a guideline. Participating schools will enter those athletes deemed qualified to participate whereby the best three marks will be considered for entry into the invitational, seeded, and rated meet. Heats will not be reseeded after Wednesday April 30 th at 7:00PM. Top six in invitational heat will be named all Ventura County. Contact Information: Rob Dearborn Cell , Home , School Entry Fee The entry fee for Boys and Girls team is $ or $15.00 per individual ($100 min). The fee is payable to VCTFCCCA. Mail to Tyree Cruz 402 Aliso St. Ventura Scratch Meeting The scratch meeting is Tuesday April 29 th at 7:00PM at the home of Rob Dearborn Summer Street, no ads will be performed after the scratch meeting. Divisions There are 3 divisions for the championship meet. The Top 9 will compete in the invitational, the next 9 will compete in the seeded division, and the last 9 will compete in the rated division. There are 12 athletes in each division for the 800, 1600, and Awards Top 6 medal in the Invitational Division. Their medals will be awarded immediately following their event on the 50-yard line. Top 5 medal in the seeded division and top 3 in the rated division medal. They will receive their medals from their coach at the conclusion of the meet. Officials Every school is responsible to work for the success of the meet. Please have a minimum of 2 adults assigned to event, with 2 student helpers. Refer to the attached officials work assignment" sheet for your schools assigned responsibility. The County Coaches association will assess a $ fine to any program that does not cover their event. Upon request, results will also be sent to Rich Gonzalez (PrepCalTrack) files/results to Chad Scott at westlakemath@gmail.com Dual/Tri (Non-Invitational) Meets Using Meet Manager: the Meet Backup (File Backup) Not using Meet Manager: Submit the scanned results of the entire meet (in PDF format) AND indicate which athletes in which events met the qualifying standard Deadline for submitting Dual/Tri Meets is Saturday at 11:00PM of the same week the meet was held Invitational Meets If possible, obtain and the Meet Backup Otherwise, request a copy of the "Results for Team Manager" AND the full results in the "Flat HTML" format. (I have never had a timing company refuse to send the "Results for Team Manager" and the results in "Flat HTML" format) Deadline for submitting Invitational Meets is Saturday at 11:00PM the week following the invitational County Website: venturacounty.runnerspace.com The website will be updated each Sunday with the current marks under the section called "T & F Marks"
