1 Job Description Job title: Location: Responsible to: Responsible for: Job purpose: Systems Trainer YMCA Norfolk Offices, Norwich ICT Manager No Line Manager responsibilities To act as part of a project team for the implementation of an Outcomes Monitoring System. This post is to assist with the development and implementation of training materials, training delivery and business processes for this project. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide support for staff in the implementation of the Outcomes Measurement System. Assess staff training requirements and skills gaps in relation to the implementation of the Outcomes Measurement Framework and its Tools. Design training materials that are appropriate for the intended audience and includes assessment and feedback mechanisms. Review existing material available by System suppliers and develop user guides and other learning resources. Deliver staff training in classroom or 1 to 1 situations relating to the Outcomes Measurement Framework and associated Business Processes. To assist with the monitoring of OMF Business Processesby staff reporting on compliance as necessary. To assist with the monitoring and usage of Outcomes Measurement Tools, producing reports and statistics as necessary. 2 To liaise with the ICT Manager as necessary in identifying, diagnosing and resolving issues as necessary. To liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager regarding the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the OMF Business Processes. Ensure effective liaison and collaboration with all departments and department leads regarding the implementation of the Outcomes Measurement System and its Framework. Attend project meetings where necessary, take notes and report back to manager. Christian ethos Work in line with the Christian ethos of the organisation within the service area. Ensure all policies, procedures and working practices support the Christian identity and values of the Association. To carry out any other tasks that may be required from time to time in accordance with the postholder s capabilities and the changing working environment. SCALE Staff:None Sites: Norwich will be the primary location but visits to all YMCA Norfolk sites throughout the county includingkings Lynn and Great Yarmouth will be required. DISCRETION TO ACT The post holder can authorise all expenditure within the service area budget approved by the Board subject to any income generation also matching the budget. ENVIRONMENT 1. YMCA Norfolk operates on a 24 hour, 365 days per year basis. 2. Unsocial hours 3. Risk Occasional projects, meetings and social events may require working evenings and weekends. 3 TERMS AND CONDITIONS Hours: 15 hours per week Contract: Fixed Term Contract initially for 8 Months. Pay: 22, per annum pro rata ( 9,165 based on 15 hours per week) Annual Leave: 20 days pro rata rising to 25 pro rata after 5 years service+ Bank & Public Holidays Pension Entitlement: Access to contributory stakeholder pension scheme after 3 months Period of Notice offered and required: 1 week during an initial 3 months probationary period and 1 month thereafter. Conditions of Appointment: Satisfactory medical examination, satisfactory references and clear enhanced CRB check.
