1 Overview Interact Technology s new CONNECT Bridge service allows you to take your Video conferencing investment to a new level, and allow multiple parties (up to 15) to be involved in the same video conference. The CONNECT Bridge service removes the need for customers to buy expensive equipment to do this, offering a number of packages that suit your business requirements. Whether you are thinking of making a business investment into Bridge technology or just need a one off conference between all your sites, the new CONNECT Bridge service offers a competitive, easy to use service with full concierge facilities. 2 Benefits The "CONNECT Bridge Service can dramatically change the way you conduct business, transforming how you interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers, and allowing you to experience the value of a face-to-face meeting without the physical presence. It means you can continue to develop working relationships and build trust by using both audio prompts and body language. The service ensures that its video conferencing services are highly reliable and easy to use so that you can concentrate on the business of the meeting: Flexible reservation options via or phone Our concierge dial-out services Connections ensured - able to cope with all networks and all standards based equipment manufacturers Video endpoints must be H.323 compliant.
3 Types of conferences Video conferencing can be used for a wide variety of meetings where a visual element can significantly enhance an audio call. These include: Executive briefings Press conferences Corporate meetings Product demonstrations Remote training Project management Seminars / tradeshows Design reviews
4 Registering your site Before you host your first video conference, you must register the endpoints at the sites you commonly connect with. The benefits of registering these details include the following: Full site and contact details can be retained for easy access. The video meeting components can be checked in advance to ensure a successful conference. We are able to initiate conferences by dialling out to the attendees, saving each endpoint from having to enter the conference details. Registering a site is done via our video support staff. Simply call our video coordinator Details you will need to provide: on or Room location Site contact details System information (video numbers, video conference equipment details) Preferred operating speed (bandwidth) Any special details or needs reservations@interact-technology.com i We will arrange a suitable time to test a connection to the registered endpoint. To ensure a successful conference we will endeavour to make a test call to all registered sites and will make all reasonable efforts to identify any issues but cannot be held accountable to rectify any faults on an endpoint or connection.
5 Scheduling your conference Simply call our video coordinator on or You will need to provide the following information: Your Account Details Date, start time, and duration The details of locations that will attend Chairperson host details if any Conference type (dial-in or dial-out) Speed of the call Preferred screen layout for conference users Any additional features you require The title you wish to give the conference (optional) Confirmation of the conference will be ed to you and optionally to the addresses provided for the registered endpoint(s). It is your responsibility to make sure that all participants in the video conference are notified of the conference details.
6 Joining your conference Set-up time A standard set-up time of 10 minutes is recommended for all conferences. This allows time for all video rooms to be added to the conference prior to the start of the business meeting. The set-up time can be varied by agreement when scheduling the conference. Dial out to site The conference can be scheduled so that a coordinator arranges dialling out to each site to save people from having to dial in. Dial in from site Each site dials into the issued number from their video terminals and is placed directly into the conference upon connection. For support during the conference please dial
7 Controlling your conference Picture display modes A variety of options is available for how the pictures from the different sites are displayed on the screens. The layout may be preselected at the time of scheduling the conference or can be changed during the conference by the user. Extending the conference A conference can be further extended by calling the video coordinator at least 10 minutes before the end of the scheduled time. Extension is subject to there being available time and resources. Finishing early If you are finishing the conference early please be aware that there is a minimum conference duration of 30 minutes per participant. Cancelling a scheduled conference Conferences cancelled within 48 hours of the schedule conference time will be charged at 30 minutes per participant. Assistance during the conference For any assistance during the conference, call the video coordinator at the phone number given at the start of the conference. This number can be used for operational issues (such as changing the display mode), to extend the conference, or for any technical difficulties. For support during the conference please dial

Minimum contract 12 months. Payment by monthly direct debit. Includes checking and certification of up to 4 endpoints. Additional endpoint - certification can be carried out at per endpoint. Conference setup charge for non monthly subscribers: Includes checking and certification of up to 4 endpoints. Additional endpoint certification can be carried out at per endpoint Usage charge call bandwidth kbps per user per minute Usage charge call bandwidth kbps 0.36 per user per minute Chargeable minutes are totalled per user, per conference room so a 4 party conference of 30 minutes would use 120 user conference minutes
