2 10 Easy Steps For A Great Reebok Spartan Race Experience 1. Once you arrive at Fenway Park, proceed to the WAIVERS/ BIB NUMBERS tent located at 55 Yawkey Way. 2. Fill out and sign your Spartan Participant Waiver and Venue Waiver. 3. Find your BIB number located on the BIB Number wall. Write it on your Participant waiver. 4. Proceed to REGISTRATION tent with your Waiver and Photo IdentiWication in hand. Choose the lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB number. 5. Pick up your race packet from one of our awesome volunteers. 6. Remove the orange tag from your bib and insert it under your laces to form a circle by joining the ends of the D- Tag using the adhesive tab. DO NOT Wlatten 7. Keep your BIB number as a souvenir 8. If you choose, drop your stuff at BAG CHECK tent for safe- keeping. Bag Check is $5 per bag. 9. Head into the Stadium, look for the START signs located within the Festival. 10. Prepare For Glory

6 PRE- RACE DETAILS PLEASE READ Follow these Pre- Race Instructions to ensure a speedy registration on race day 1. Visit the Fenway Park Spartan Sprint event page on our website. 2. Scroll down to Important Race Documents. 3. ATHLETE START TIMES will be posted on Wednesday, October 28th 4. BIB NUMBERS will be posted by Wednesday, November 4th. 5. Click on the Bib Info Tab to dind your exact start time. Your name will be in alphabetical order according to your last name. There you will dind your start time. Write it down. Your BIB Number will be used to dind your race packet when you arrive on Race Day. 6. Print the Reebok Spartan Race Waiver and Venue Waiver located under Important Documents. 7. Fill out the waivers completely and bring it with you along with one valid form of ID. 8. EVERY RACER MUST SIGN BOTH WAIVERS & SHOW A VALID FORM OF ID DO NOT FORGET YOUR PHOTO ID

7 RACE DAY REGISTRATION FLOW NOTE: Day of Race Registration will be available at a fee of $175. NOTE: Show up at least 2 HOUR prior to your Heat Start Time. Saturday: Sunday: STEP 1: STEP 2: STEP 3: STEP 4: Registration OPENS at 5:30am and CLOSES at 5:00pm. Registration OPENS at 7:30am and CLOSES at 3:00pm. With your Signed Waivers, Bib Number and PHOTO IDENTIFICATION in hand, proceed to the REGISTRATION TENT. ** If you DO NOT have your Waivers or Bib Number, you can locate these at the WAIVERS/ BIB NUMBERS tents. Find the registration lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB number. Participants will hand race waiver to one of our awesome Volunteers in the Registration tent. Waivers and ID will be checked to verify identity before packet is received. You will receive: Race Bibalope (Take home as a souvenir). Spartan Headband with Bib Number- please wear headband during race so race so we can recognize your bib number. Wristband with your Start Time. All Racers MUST run during their designated start time. This wristband will get you into the start corral and serves as your festival access AFTER your race. Please keep it on at all times. Remove the orange tag from your bib and insert it under your laces to form a circle by joining the ends of the D- Tag using the adhesive tab. DO NOT dlatten Free Drink wristband - Located in your packet (Don t lose this as we won t STEP 5: STEP 6: give you another one) Once you have your race packet and headband, proceed into the Festival area. BAG CHECK. If you re planning to store gear at our Bag Check tent, we will tag your bag with a wristband, which will match an identical wristband that you must wear. Once you dinish the race, you ll need to turn in your wristband in order to collect your bag. Bags will only be returned to individuals whose name and number match up. Bags can be checked for $5 per bag. For each checked bag, you will receive $5 in Spartan Bucks, which can be redeemed at the Merchandise Tent (not valid for Food or Beverage). NOTE: Bag Check tent will open at 5:30am on Saturday and 7:30am on Sunday. It will CLOSE when the last racer picks up their bags.

8 START TIMES Saturday- Start Schedule 7:00AM Men s Elite Start 7:15AM Women s Elite Start 9:00AM OPEN Start Heats Begin 5:00PM Last Open Heat Sunday- Start Schedule 9:00AM Men s Elite Start 9:15AM Women s Elite Start 9:30AM OPEN Start Heats Begin 3:00PM Last Open Heat NOTE: ALL RACERS MUST RUN IN THEIR DESIGNATED START TIME. Beginning at 9:00AM on Saturday and 9:30AM on Sunday, OPEN waves of 200 racers will be called to the start corral. In an effort to prevent over- crowding or bottlenecks on the course, we will be releasing 15 racers every minute, for 15 minutes at a time. Please be in the starting corral on time If you do not know your start time, you can locate it on your event page or at the Bib Number tent near the entrance to the Stadium. Fenway Park Spartan Sprint event page If you have any problems with your registration, please come to the Race Day Registration tent and we ll help resolve it. Terrain: 3.0 miles littered with uniquely designed Spartan and Stadium- specidic obstacles, consisting of 90% pavement, cement and stairs. You will be running though the stairwells, hallways, and the warning track of the historic Fenway Park, home of the World Champions, Boston Red Sox PLEASE STAY OFF THE GRASS. Weather: It could be a cold one so come prepared It s the beginning of November in the Northeast and it will be chilly Please dress appropriately. Aid Stations: There will be two water stations on course and one aid station at Finish Line that includes bananas. You can bring a water bottle or hydration pack with you on course and take as much water as you'd like at each station, but if you use our disposable cups, please take only one at each station and redill it.

9 EVENT TIMING You will receive an orange D- tag to record your time and results. The D- tag must be secured around the middle of your shoelace in order to record your dinish time properly. It is very important that you don t dlatten the d- tag. Flat is bad, round is good There will be instructions posted at every Registration lane and on the D- tag itself. Upon completion of the race at the Finish line: o You may throw out your D- tag or wear it on your shoes forever. o You will then receive your Spartan Race Medal and T- Shirt. Finisher Times will be posted at the Results Tent near the Finish Line and will be on the Spartan Race Website as quickly as possible. SGX WARM UP AREA Wondering how to warm up before the race? Need some practice climbing a wall or lessons on how to climb a rope? Just swing by the SGX WARM UP Area and one of our Spartan Coaches will get you started. Our Spartan SGX program provides accessible stretching equipment, practice ropes, a 6' wall, and most importantly EXPERT GUIDANCE from our growing community of coaches that have been certidied as Spartan SGX Instructors. 10 OFFICIAL SPARTAN RACE FINISHER SHIRTS Once you cross the dinish line, you ll be able to collect your ofdicial Spartan Race Finisher shirt along with you unique Fenway Park medal. Wear them with pride. You ll have earned it Wear it with pride; you ll have earned it Be sure to wear your medal as proof that you re a Spartan dinisher AWARDS The Awards Ceremony will be held at 10:50am on Saturday and 11:50am on Sunday The top 3 male and 3 female ELITE Heat racers will receive a cash prize of $500, $200, and $100 respectfully, Saturday only The top 3 male and 3 female racers will also receive a Unique Reebok Spartan Race Plaque designed by one of our most loyal racers. Each of the top 3 male and females will also be featured on Spartan Race's Wall of Champions page, Saturday and Sunday. FREE RACE PHOTOS Your FREE Race Photos will be available approximately one week after the event. The link to the photos will be on our RESULTS page on our website, and will be ed to each participant. Stay tuned for more updates KID S RACE SATURDAY SCHEDULE Kids Spartan Race: Varsity 1 mile 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm Kids Spartan Race: Varsity 1/2 mile 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm - Special Spartan SUNDAY SCHEDULE Kids Spartan Race: Varsity 1 mile 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm Kids Spartan Race: Varsity 1/2 mile 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm Registration for the Spartan Kids Race and Special Spartans Kids Race will be at the main Registration tent. On- site registration is $30 per child. Each dinisher will receive a dinisher s medal and Kids Race Shirt. Bring Cash, Check, or Card if you are planning to register on- site. Look for the orange Kids Race banners to locate the Starting Line.

11 HOW TO GET HERE Since Fenway Park is located in the heart of Boston, there is no event parking dedicated to the stadium. We highly encourage all racers and spectators to take public transportation as close as possible and walk to Yawkey Way. Fenway Park 4 Yawkey Way Boston, MA CLICK HERE for directions. Taking the T to Fenway Park Green Line (Subway Schedule): The Green Line's Kenmore Square and Fenway Stations are the closest to Fenway Park, and customers can board any B, C, and D- branch trains to travel to Kenmore Square Station. For Fenway Station, customers can board any D- branch train. Commuter Rail (Framingham/Worcester Line Schedule): Customers can also utilize Yawkey Station on the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line for service to and from Fenway Park. Travel to Fenway Park on the Commuter Rail via South Station Once the train arrives at South Station, board the Red Line (Alewife side). Depart from the train at Park Street Station. Park St. is only two stops from South Station. Once you are at Park Street Station, board the Green Line. Board any B, C, or D- branch Green Line trains and travel to Kenmore Square Station. Fenway Park is less than a half- mile from Kenmore Square Station. MBTA station personnel in orange vests may be available to answer any questions and to assist and direct customers on race day. Park and Take the T Parking is available at many MBTA stations. Before beginning the trip to Fenway, visit the MBTA Parking page for a full list of parking locations and information.

12 SPECTATORS FREE Spectator passes are available here for Saturday or here for Sunday until 5pm on Friday, October 31st. Please come by the Spectator Tent to pick up your wristband. Please print the Spartan Race and Venue Waiver from the Fenway Park Spartan Sprint event page and bring an ID to the Spectator Tent on race day. Anyone entering the festival MUST dill out a waiver and have a wristband (including racers). Food (BBQ and healthy options) and drink will be for sale (please bring cash). DJ & Emcee entertainment all day. EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING FOOD & BEVERAGES Food and beverages will be available for sale so please bring cash. All participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothes, shoes, and a plastic bag. Unfortunately, there will be NO FREE BEER at this race. Beer will ONLY available for purchase on- site. Food and beverage will be available for sale so please bring cash and have your ID ready if you are planning on having a beer. RESPONSIBLE DRINKING Spartan Race HQ reminds you to drink responsibly. This race is one of grit and determination that should not be tarnished by the irresponsible acts of few. SPARTAN RACE SPECIAL OFFERS Please stop by the Future Sales Tent in our Festival for some great discounts and information on up coming races FACILITIES Restrooms will be located throughout the stadium. We will not have shower facilities available on- site.

13 SPARTAN INFORMATION ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. LEAVING YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WHILE YOU ARE RACING WILL RESULT IN BEING PULLED OFF THE COURSE AND ASKED TO LEAVE. No pop- up tents are allowed in the festival. Tent space is reserved for Sponsors. No coolers or glass bottles allowed on property. Security staff will check for them as you enter. Shoe and clothing donation available both in festival and in parking lots. If you want to donate your muddy clothing and shoes make sure you drop it off at the proper tent and not on the ground. If you wear a GoPro, please make sure your contact information (name & phone number) is somewhere on the camera. If you lose the camera on the course, this is the only way we are able to identify it. You must have ID to check in. Racers ages 14 and older can participate in the adult s race. 14 year olds require a guardian to run with them on the adult course. Those under 14 are encouraged to join the Kids race. No DOGS/ pets allowed - Only Service Dogs with proper credentials are allowed. Please DO NOT call venue with questions Our Fenway Park Spartan Sprint event page is your best source for up- to- date information. Please check back early and often. Drink plenty of water before the race and come prepared Get a good night s sleep. This race is no joke INCLEMENT WEATHER In the event of inclement weather such as lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like, Spartan Race reserves the right to eliminate obstacles, select portions of the course, or cancel the event in order to ensure the safety of racers, volunteers and staff.
