1 Rendez-vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta Explore Dream Discover Sailing in the wake of great explorers this adventure of a lifetime is a 7,000 nautical mile transatlantic race visiting five countries.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover. Mark Twain ( ) In 2017 Tall Ship Maybe will be taking part in the international Rendez-vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta. Sailing between Portugal, Bermuda, America, Canada and France. One of those once in a lifetime opportunities that will stay in your memory forever. One of those items on your bucket list that you felt would never be possible? Well it is. Cross the Atlantic Ocean on a classic Tall Ship, using only the power of the wind. 3 Race 1. Royal Greenwich Sines 15 th April 30 th April (15 nights) 1500 Race 2. Transatlantic Race Leg. Sines Bermuda. 30 th April 3 rd June (34 nights) Join the boat in Royal Greenwich on the 15 th April ready to set sail for Sines, Portugal on the 16 th April. The ships will arrive in Sines by 29 th April, where a magnificent 3 day festival will greet them. There will be cultural tours, a crew parade and crew party to name just a few activities in port. Race 3. Bermuda Boston 4 th June 21 st June (17 nights) Join the boat in Sines on the 30 th April, ready to sail out of Sines in a wonderful Parade of Sail on Labour Day. Expect lots of cheering supporters as the boats leave Sines. We then embark on an ocean race across the North Atlantic and will arrive in Bermuda before 1 st June, to join in the host port celebrations. Race 4. Boston Gulf of St Lawrence 21 st June 2 nd July (11 nights) Join the boat in Bermuda on the 4 th June, ready to set sail for Boston on the 5 th June. We then race north, joining the port festival in Boston on the 17 th June. Spend 4 days in port exploring this wonderful city before disembarking on the 21 st June. Join the boat in Boston, on the 21 st June, when you will have a day to explore the city and enjoy the Tall Ships Festival before we race to Canada. You will then have a couple of days ashore to sample the hospitality, maritime heritage and culture of a Canadian host port before leaving the boat.

4 Cruise in Company 1. Gulf of St Lawrence Quebec City. 2 nd July 21 st July (19 nights) 1900 Cruise in Company 2. Quebec City Final Race departure port. 22 nd July 1 st August (10 nights) 1000 Join the boat at the host port in Canada (to be confirmed) on the 2 nd July before we cruise along the St Lawrence River, visiting various ports along the way. This is an opportunity to take part in a more laid back sail, enjoying the scenery and nature of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. Arriving in Quebec City on 18 th July for 3 days of festivities and celebrations. This will definitely be one to remember! Join the boat in Quebec City on 22 nd July ready to cruise along the St Lawrence River to a final race departure port. There will be plenty of stops along the way with breath-taking scenery and wildlife to enjoy. Arriving in the final race departure port on 30 th July. Enjoy the festivities of the Tall Ship Festival in port before disembarking on 1 st August. Race 5. Transatlantic Race Leg. Canada Le Havre 1 st August 2 nd September (32 nights) Join the boat on the 1 st August for the final race of this transatlantic challenge. Be a part of the crew to race Tall Ship Maybe back across the Atlantic Ocean to Le Havre, France. Arrive in Le Havre on the 31 st August, and expect a very warm welcome. Enjoy the festivities in the final host port of the Rendez-vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta. Disembark 2 nd September.

5 Life on-board Tall Ship Maybe On a sailing voyage on Tall Ship Maybe you become one of the crew, helping to set sails, steer the ship, keep watch and helping with the navigation. The permanent crew on board will train you in all aspects of Tall Ship sailing and everyone can join in and is encouraged to do so. You will never be asked to do anything you have not been trained to do and training always begins right at the start of the voyage. The permanent crew are highly skilled at bringing out your natural talents and creating a happy crew out of a bunch of strangers!! You leave Tall Ship Maybe as part of a family, having shared good times, hard times, and made memories that will last forever.
