1 the place of useful learning FEES UNDERGRADUATE STUDY This guide provides you with information on the University s fees for undergraduate study in the place of useful learning

2 DISCLAIMER This document may be subject to updates to maintain accuracy. Actual tuition fees will be notified in your offer letter. All fees are in sterling and may be subject to revision. Fees for students domiciled in Scotland and the EU are subject to confirmation by the Scottish Funding Council. ANNUAL REVISION OF FEES Students on programmes of study of more than one year should be aware that tuition fees are revised annually and may increase in subsequent years of study. Annual increases will generally reflect UK inflation rates and increases to course delivery costs.

3 Domiciled in Scotland and the EU (not including England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Full-time courses 1,820 Compulsory work placement (12 months) 910 Outgoing exchange* 1,820 *Scottish/EU undergraduate students undertaking an exchange for a semester/year will continue to pay their normal tuition fees at Strathclyde and will not be charged fees by the overseas institution Undergraduate students domiciled in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands Full-time courses 9,000 (capped at a maximum cost of 27,000 for a four-year degree)* Compulsory work placement (12 months)** 4,500 Outgoing exchange*** see note below * The total amount payable by undergraduate students will be capped at 27,000 (with the exception of the MPharm and integrated Masters Courses). MPharm students will pay 9,000 for each of the four years. Students studying on integrated Masters degree programmes will pay an additional 9,000 for the Masters year. ** All students on undergraduate Architecture programmes will pay the same fee rate as Scottish/EU students for the compulsory placement year (see table above). *** Students undertaking a year of study abroad will have their tuition fee arrangements ordered so that they do not pay tuition for the year that they are abroad. Students on integrated Masters courses who choose to undertake a second period of study abroad may be required to pay the regular tuition fee for this. 1

Fees for compulsory 12-month work placements will normally be charged at 50% of the standard international fee rate (with the exception of placements for Architecture programmes where the same fee rate applies to all students). 2
