Vision and Objectives of the Program 4.1 Vision Technology is dramatically changing our economy and our society. The Thailand s Tenth National Economic and Social Development Plan ( ) points to the quick changing in Information Technology (IT) including the major roles of information technology in business and industry in Thailand. Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) realizes these trends and develops this Master of Information Technology (MIT) curriculum to serve the trends and influences of information technology in our current society. The MIT course is designed to cater both those who currently work in the IT industry and have IT background and those who have bachelor degree in another discipline but work in IT industry who wish to gain the MIT degree that will allow them to pursue an IT career. The MIT curriculum is aimed to produce graduates for businesses and industries who have knowledge and skills capable to design, analyze, process, and manage information technology in those organizations. Our graduates should also be capable to develop their own development to keep pace with the rapid change of technology in the information technology field. 4.2 Objectives To provide cutting edge knowledge and skills for graduates to be proficient in the use of information technology in business information systems, multimedia technology, and computer network technology to professionally develop solutions to real world problems To provide sufficient theoretical and conceptual background and associated skills to people already working in industry to use information technology more effectively as part of their jobs, and to deal effectively with IT professionals who provide services to them. 5.
