8 big hearts at BIGHORN BIGHORN Golf Club Charities continues to support the Coachella Valley through a variety of programs including giving year university, junior college and trade school scholarships, graduating 35 English as a Second Language scholarships and giving 1,000 holiday toy drive gifts. Our Members care about the world around them and want to contribute to the communities where they reside, shares BIGHORN Chairman R.D. Hubbard. It s a privilege to offer help. BIGHORN Behind A Miracle (BAM) golfers hit an extraordinary milestone by raising $1.5 million in fundraising for breast cancer treatment and research equipment in 4 short years. This year s donations will fund a GE Senographe Essential & DS Digital Mammography machine, a TotalLook MammoAdvantage, and transportation for radiation & chemotherapy patients who normally depend on public transportation. This year, $20,000 has been given to The Pendleton Foundation who assists the neediest cancer patients by paying utility bills, rent, and giving gas and food cards to patients who are unable to work because of the severity of their illness.
