If you have an iphone and need help finding your way around it why not sign up for this session If you have an Android Phone please let us know to enable us to set dates for sessions to help you too. Windows 10 are you struggling with Windows 10 this session will familiarise you with the changes - or maybe you are still undecided about upgrading to Windows 10 our tutor will talk you through the pros and cons of both installing and using Windows 10. There will also be some hands on time on the Centre s computers. Wednesday 16 and 23 November am. Monday 24 October pm FH An Introduction to Researching Family History: Learn and practise how best to use the resources on the internet to research your family history in our 2 week course. The course is designed to introduce new knowledge over the two weeks. Both sessions will introduce new techniques to confirm understanding, then develop new ideas. Both sessions will involve practical student exercises using the computers provided. Some class time will be allocated to student s own research, with the tutor providing assistance when difficulties are encountered. New dates coming in Autumn Eb How to Sell on ebay: ebay is a popular auction website where individuals can buy and sell new and second-hand items. This demonstration will show you how to sell a single item on ebay and that there is nothing to fear, so long as you follow a few simple steps, and, of course, remember it is just fun! Skype and FaceTime: A one session course of two hours designed to get you going on Skype and Facetime. With the free Skype app on your ipad you can talk "face to face" free with someone across the street or across the world on their pc, ipad, tablet, smart phone etc. Facetime is the same although both "ends" have to be Apple devices. Facetime is a little easier to use. ipad Digital Photography. Taking pictures with your ipad, putting your pics into Albums, editing photos using the Photos app. Managing your pics on your ipad, pc and icloud. It will also include a review of some selected Photo apps available in the App store. Three Week course at 29 Top Tips for WORD OK - So you use WORD but... could you use it more effectively and have more fun with it? There are a mass of shortcuts and quick methods that will help you to get more out of your Word Processing and eliminate some of those niggly frustrations. Enrol on this one week course and learn some simple helpful hints to enhance your Word - processing skills. Excel Spreadsheets: An Introduction: Aimed at those who are new or fairly new to Excel, the session is designed to give someone the knowledge to be able to use the program confidently at a basic level. Two-hour session at 15 Producing Forms and Mail Merge in Word. CANCELLATION OF COURSES BY THE FERNHURST CENTRE The Fernhurst Centre reserves the right to cancel any course at short notice if it becomes necessary to so. In the event, you will be notified as soon as possible and advised of options for transferring to another course. If you prefer to withdraw your booking, a full refund will be made. 5
