5 The Orange Tulip Schlarship (OTS) prgramme is designed fr students frm a Nes cuntry wh want t study in the Netherlands. OTS is a prmtinal tl that supprts and adds value t the generic Study in Hlland (SiH) prmtin. It allws Dutch higher educatin institutins (DHEIs) t fcus n certain cuntries with their prmtinal effrts. In rder t be eligible fr OTS, candidates must be citizens f the Nes cuntry and shuld currently nt be studying r wrking in the Netherlands. Respnsibilities Ness: Generic prmtin f the schlarship prgramme (nline and ffline); Prvide adequate rientatin and cunselling services fr lcal students wh are interested in the Orange Tulip Schlarship prgramme; Cntact and update DHEIs n the prcess; Eligibility check applicants (nly prf f being in the prcess f admissin); Prvide the DHEIs with a list f registered students after the applicatin deadline; Ntify the schlarship results and infrm schlarship applicants f the results; Organise an awarding ceremny fr the selected applicants; Respnsibility DHEIs: Prvide all the necessary infrmatin (a clear schlarship descriptin, including cncrete applicatin infrmatin) fr prmting the schlarships thrugh the signed OTS participatin frm; Appint a cntact persn fr the Ness and EP-Nuffic; Decisins cncerning acceptance f students and the nminatin f students fr the schlarship (meet the deadline fr ntificatin); Help prmting the schlarships thrugh direct cntact with prspective students, n the website, etc.; Cntact and help the selected students with their preparatins t cme t the Netherlands; Fulfil the bligatins that the ttal value f the ffered schlarship will be delivered t the selected student; Deliver the spnsrship directly t the selected students in mney r in kind; Timeline: Deadline What 15 th September Participatin frm fr DHEIs Octber Start prmtin activities by Ness 1 st April General applicatin deadline fr students 10 th May Student selectin dne by DHEIs 5
