35 Tips from Residents I am either working fully or resting fully, no in-between. Once my work and studies are caught up, I turn of my MD brain completely and focus on other aspects of being me. I use this strategy daily, and also for vacations. - PGY-2 35
36 Tips from Residents Keep a list of To-Do s on an external device. Sub-divide these by environments where you can complete each (e.g. things to do at the computer, at home, on the phone, etc.) This allows you to focus on what you are doing and be present in the moment, and it allows you to be efficient whenever you want. - PGY-2 36
37 Tips from Residents Meditate daily even if it s five minutes. On days I meditate, I find that I plan my time well and end up using the time I have effectively. I can t say enough about this the key is to try it for a week. There are lots of guided breathing meditations, just pick one and sit. - PGY-2 37
