3 WARNING Tighten all Screws. Failure to do so may cause product damage or personal injury or both. 1 End Panel Installation 1. Make sure Anti-Dislodgement Clips and studs with nuts are pointed toward inside of Storage Unit. Note: AO style End Panels do not require Anti-Dislodgement Clips A or B 2. Install End Panel Assemblies (A or B) by inserting End Panel teeth into slots on frame. Making sure teeth point down. Lower End Panel so teeth hook into slots. Mounting Studs With nuts End Panel Anti-Dislodgement Clip End Panel Teeth 3. Rotate Anti-Dislodgement clip until it fits into slot and hanger clip is fully seated in hanger frame. 4 2Shelf Installation C Bumper C 1. Check Shelves (C) prior to installation. If Insert shifted during shipment, re-center Insert in Track. Make sure Bumpers are pressed in on both sides of Track. Insert Track Front of Shelf Bumper 2. Install Bottom Shelf with lock slots (C) on End Panels (A or B) by engaging verticals slots in shelf over mounting studs in End panels. Note: Orientation of shelf - Track must face forward. End Panel 3. Make sure Shelf is fully seated on mounting studs. 4. Leave nuts loose at this point. 5 3 Back Panel Installation Important: If Back Panel (G) is required after Storage Unit has been fully assembled, go to STEP 8. G 1. If Back Panel (G) is required at initial install, cut approximately 3/4 long pieces of Foam Tape (J) and apply them to the areas shown. If the unit is an upmount storage unit, cut and apply 3/4 long pieces of Foam Tape (J) to the rear flanges of the upmount End Panels (I) as shown. J I J 2. Slide Back Panel (G) down behind Bottom Shelf (C) until lower flange of Back Panel drops below flange on underside of Shelf. 6 3. Angle top of Back Panel (G) so that upper flange is positioned in front of mounting studs on End Panels. Back Panel Lower Flange 4. Pull Back Panel (G) up so that Back Panel lower flange hooks over flange on shelf. End Panel 5. Hook tabs over mounting studs, but leave nuts loose at this point. To be sure that Tabs on Back Panel do not disengage, have an assistant push back on Back Panel to keep it in place until Top Shelf is in place, and nuts are tightened. 7 Middle Shelf/Divider Installation 4 for 22 High Cabinet G 1. Install Middle Shelf (H) by engaging vertical slots in shelf over mounting studs in End Panels (see Step 2). Note: Make sure tooling hole in shelf is facing toward the back of unit. Note: If a Back Panel is installed apply three 3/4 long pieces of Foam Tape (J) to the rear flange of the shelf as shown before installation. H J Shelf 2. 8 3. Re-seat middle shelf, making sure ends of shelf are fully seated on End Panel studs. 9 5 Top Shelf/Divider Installation 1. Install Top Shelf without lock slots (C) by engaging vertical slots in shelf over mounting studs in End Panels. Do not tighten nuts yet. Use caution when Back Panel is being used to prevent dislodging Back Panel tabs while seating top shelf. Tabs of Back Panel should be between Shelf Flange and Nuts as shown. 2. Be sure that center hooks of Back Panel engage Upper Shelf as shown. 3. Install Tall Divider (F) by lifting Top Shelf (C) slightly and inserting lower & upper Divider tabs into slots on lower & top shelves 4. Use needlenose pliers to bend lower tabs of all Dividers to 45 degrees as shown in Step Tighten all nuts on mounting studs. Do no overtighten. 6 Lock Installation NOTICE When keyed alike lock plugs are to be installed use the 1/4 hex key to turn dummy lock plug so the arrow points upward. Remove dummy plug. Make sure adapter is installed with slot vertical and round cam is inserted into lock bar slot. Install lock plug into lock shell in unlocked position (key teeth pointing down). 10 Door 7 Sliding Door Installation 1. Hold door at an angel with bottom of door away from Storage Unit. Insert upper lip of upper door guides into track on top shelf. Lift door slightly and push bottom flange of upper door guides into track. 2. Rotate door and snap lower door guides into track on lower shelf. 11 If Back Panel (G) is required after Storage Unit 8 Back Panel Installation has been fully assembled, disassemble Unit as follows: 1. Remove Door by sliding door left or right until lower door guide aligns with slot in track. Insert a standard screwdriver into slot to push door guide down and disengage from track. Repeat for opposite side. Slot Lower door Guide 2. Lift up on door. Pull bottom of door away from unit to disengage lower flange of upper door guides. Pull door away from Storage Unit to fully disengage upper door guides. 3. Loosen nuts on mounting studs supporting top shelf. Remove top shelf. Door Upper Door Guide End Panel 4. Straighten tabs on divider with needlenose pliers. Remove divider. 5. Remove middle shelf and divider. Straighten Tabs 6. 12 Off-Module End Panel Installation 1 Rail Off-Module Tile 1. Remove Rail(s) from Off Module Tile. 2 K K 1. Tile End Panel (K). Insert Mounting Bracket into slots in Top Support and swing down. 2. 13 3 4 L Shelf 1. Set Shelf onto Screws in End Panels. 2. Tighten 4 Screws. Off Module Tile Rail 5 1. Insert Support Bracket (L) into Slots in Frame behind Shelf. 14 Wall Mount End Panel Installation 1. Hold each End Panel in desired location and mark the locations of the three oblong mounting slots on the wall. 2. (For drywall, concrete or brick) Drill holes in the center of each slot and install Anchors following the Anchor instructions. 3. Drive in appropriate Fasteners. (Washers are required under screw heads). Make final adjustments to positioning of End Panels before fully tightening Fasteners. ( It may be helpful to insert the Top and Bottom Shelves temporarily to verify End Panel positioning before tightening). 16 Wall Cleats require the following quantities of fastener (X1192.) specify separately. Height - Fasteners Disassembly and Recycling: Materials Identification and Segregation: Where possible, plastic components are marked with ASTM recycling codes. Use these codes to identify material type for recycling. Non marked components should be treated as mixed plastic. Ferrous metals can be identified using a small magnet for recycling.
