Nonprofit Summit Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities As of July 10, 2014 Over 500 attendees are anticipated at SC Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) 14 th annual gathering at Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms during February The Together. For Good. Nonprofit Summit includes significant involvement of high-level nonprofit leaders (executive directors, senior staff and board members) who design and lead this event. The program includes a day and a half of leadership workshops and two half days of tactical sessions. There will be sessions for board members and senior staff across disciplines. Summit marketing begins July - August For six weeks prior to the summit, SCANPO generally sends weekly, summit-specific s reaching 7,000+ nonprofit leaders. Facebook sites reach 4,000+ and the website receives 10,000+ hits a month. SCANPO s currently has 600 total members. There are roughly 4,000 filing nonprofit organizations in South Carolina. Business Partner benefits include year-round recognition as a SCANPO Business Partner, a profile and listing in SCANPO s Business Partner Directory and referrals. 2. Summit recognition, beginning with logo and link on Summit webpages, advance s, and collateral materials, as well as mention in SCANPO s social media outlets. 3. Visibility for designated staff, with a letter from them, with photo, in a Summit e-news to be sent to 7, The opportunity to give welcoming remarks at the opening session and recognition from the podium as the sole Presenting Corporate Sponsor. 5. If a program is produced, a full color logo on the front cover, premium/color, full-page ad on back cover, and logo on Sponsor page. If an electronic program is produced, a similar level of visibility will be offered. 8. The opportunity to provide promotional items for the Summit "swag bags" distributed to all attendees at check-in. (Quantity 600 by February 4). Sponsor to provide imprinted items, such as: pens, stickers, magnets, etc. 9. The opportunity to provide branded pens and pads distributed by the hotel in all meeting spaces, for all three days. (Quantity 1,000 by February 4). 10. An exhibit table during Tuesday s Nonprofit Marketplace in a premium spot, valued at $650 (See section at end on Exhibiting.) 11. Four complimentary, full-summit registrations to use for your staff and any guests, valued at nearly $1,200. Additional staff at the exhibit table must pay exhibitor fee. 12. Four invitations the to Sponsors reception. 13. The opportunity to hold a drawing from names given at your exhibit table, including option for a $1,000 drawing at the closing session on Wednesday if you desire. 14. The opportunity to submit for consideration by the Program Committee a possible session to lead involving nonprofit leaders. Must be submitted by August 15, Right of first refusal to match other offers for Presenting Corporate Sponsor in 2016 to be confirmed no later than April SIGNATURE CORPORATE SPONSORS ($5,000) 1. Complimentary twelve month Business Partner membership in SCANPO. 2. Recognition as Signature Corporate Sponsor from podium. 3. Sponsorship of a specific event and recognition from podium at that event. Sponsors may choose from the following events: o Leadership Challenge Workshops (5 available) o Reception, Tuesday evening (Google reserved). o SCANPO Business Meeting & Closing/Inspirational Keynote, Wednesday midday. 4. Opportunity to submit for consideration by the Program Committee a possible session to lead involving nonprofit leaders. Advance recognition as Sustaining Corporate Sponsor with logo and link on Summit webpages and s, and collateral materials. 3. Logo on Sponsor page in printed or electronic program. 4. 4 ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS Corporate Sponsorship opportunities are a member benefit for SCANPO Business Partners. Dues are based on number of SC employees: o $250 (1-2 employees), o $500 (3-10) o $750 (11-100) o $1,000 (100+) Staff support and in-kind contributions that defray event costs may be considered for inclusion as part of company s contribution. At the request of its members, SCANPO no longer shares its member or participant list. Exhibitors may offer door prizes to obtain business cards. Drawings will be held at Tuesday s reception. All Sponsor attendees will be clearly identified with special sponsor name badges. Sponsors will be included in marketing efforts as soon as a signed written commitment and pertinent marketing materials are received. Payment is due in full no later than January 10, All program artwork must be received by November 1, 2014 and approved by SCANPO. 4

5 SUMMIT EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES Exhibitors will participate in the Nonprofit Marketplace to be held on February 11, 2014, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. There is room for 30 exhibitors. Attendees will have ample time to stop by your table! Benefits include: 1. Ability to share your product or service through a focused setting, and giving a clear message to the nonprofit community that you re open for business and committed to supporting them. 2. Six foot draped and skirted table with one chair, in visible and high trafficked area. 3. One complimentary registration; additional attendees pay daily rate of $ Listing in Nonprofit Market Place Directory on the website. 5. Exposure through a single post on both SCANPO s Facebook page and Twitter handle recognizing the company as an exhibitor. 6. Participation in Exhibitor Passport Game to encourage participants to learn about services with drawing at reception. Ability to offer own drawing and collect business cards. 7. Tips for Exhibiting to the Nonprofit Sector provided for all registered exhibitors. Exhibitor space is limited. We have sold out the past two years. Placement for exhibitors is confirmed on a first come, first serve basis, even for Sponsors. We encourage sponsors to confirm use of exhibit table as quickly as possible. Nonprofit Marketplace Hours Set-up: Monday, February 10 5:00 PM 9:00 PM Hours: Tuesday, February 11 8:00 AM 5:00 PM All exhibits must be removed no later than 9:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11. Exhibitor Rate (unless included in sponsorship) SCANPO Business Partner Member Rate $650 SCANPO Nonprofit Member Rate $350 Non-Member Rate $950 Electricity and shipping of display are charged separately. Exhibitor Policies: All exhibitors agree to: Set-up exhibit no later than 7:30 am on February 10th, and maintain set-up until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10. Exhibitors dismantling before this time may not be asked to return. Request electrical and internet using SCANPO-provided materials and provide all necessary connections, extensions, etc. Staff the exhibit continuously during exhibitor hours. Provide items for drawings at your booth (if your company chooses to offer). Maintain appropriate decorum, limit promotion to your booth area, and not distract or deter attendees from other booths through the use of loud noise, exhibits exceeding the space given, or speaking negatively of other exhibitors. Assume responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims resulting out of exhibitor s activities at the Summit and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SCANPO, the host hotel and conference center, it s agents, affiliates, officers, members, and collaborators from any and all losses, damages, and/or claims.
